Dude, if you want build a competitive crystron deck then why don't watch Teamsamuraix1's video with his friend he built a really powerful crystron deck.I even watched his video b/c I wanted to build a crystron deck and due to variety and knowning what my opponent's deck is.

I love Crystrons, one of my favorite decks. Here's my recommendations. First, as many people have pointed out, the non-tuners can destroy themselves with their own effects, you don't need other cards on the field. This is particularly good with Sulfefnir, which I would run at three. He essentially lets you summon any Crystron from the deck without using your normal summon, allowing you to swam much easier. Combine this with Supply Squad so that every turn you get an extra draw for using your Cryston effects. If you open up with Silfefnir and any other Cyrstron non-tuner you can end your turn with a Citree and a Rion on field, letting you synchro at least twice during your opponent's turn, which you'll want to do in this deck. The big Cyrston synchros are all trigger effects that activate when they are summoned, use their effects to disrupt your opponent by summoning during their turn. In addition, cards like Black Rose, Black Rose Moonlight, and Trishula are all good in this deck for the same reason, summon them in your opponent's main phase and get rid of their cards mid combo. I'd run Starlight Junction instead of the Crystron field spell, it will let you spin your opponent's cards back to the deck when you Synchro during their turn, giving you even more removal. I'd also run three Prasiortle. Use him to summon Citree. Citree during your opponent's turn to make Quandax, then use Rion to grab the same Prasiortle and make Ametrix, then synchro Ametrix and Quandax for Phoenix to banish all your opponent's spell/traps. Ties of the Bretheren is also great in this deck, since you have a lot of level 3 Water Machine-type monsters that you can summon and then synchro with on your opponent's turn. Add in one Steam Synchron, and you can use it's effect to make a first turn Trishula or Quarionngrandax, depending on if you summoned a Rion and a non-tuner or two non-tuners. I made a deck profile on my channel for these guys a few months back, if you want even more info you can check that out, but these combos should at least get you started. Best of luck :)

@sunaboshi36647 жыл бұрын
I've been thinking about adding in a couple of copies of torque tune gear. if I recall correctly you can equip it to any monster and then detach to special summon which u can later use as a material for quariondax because it's also a tuner

Hey Paul liked the profile been waiting for this one for a bit. As a Crystron player myself i do have a small reccomendation on a play involving Sulfenir. Due to his effect you can pop him to special summon him which is helpful deck thinning but he works amazingly with Sea Monster of Theseus for a super easy Tzolkin play. My deck focuses mostly on Tzolkin and the level 8 Dragon Brigade as well just thought i'd insert my own thoughts.

I would recommend chanabara as sychro because it attacks twice, and gains attack for each one. If the field is empty that's an easy 4200. Also, try looking into meklords, because they special summon themselves out onto the field when you blow up your crystrons for your tuners. Wisely gives you negation at the cost of it being the only card to attack, and Granel comes onto the field at whatever your lifepoints is divided in half, so if you have 8000 he's 4000 attack and defense. True king fathomed if you'd like but he's more of a filler

You should add Foolish Burial Goods. It allows you to send a spell/trap from your deck to the graveyard and its not limited. It helps thin out the deck and send the traps to the grave.

Since your building Crystrons, I can only assume that you play it just for fun :D My favorite way is to play 60 card That Grass Phantom Knight Crystrons. Keep grabbing the Phantom Knights with your tuners and protect your synchros with Phantom Knight Spells/Trap...definitely not a pure version, but is fun to see people struggle against it :D

Some traps to possibly run. Half or nothing (during you opp. Battle phase activate and they can choose to half the attack of all their monsters or end the battle phase), Mirror of oaths(when your opp. Special summons destroy the monster and draw one card), Tyrant's tantrum(tribute to monsters you control and your opp. Cannot active spell cards unless they discard one spell from the deck to the grave) just a few I run. Not in this deck build but with my deck I run. Great video asalwaysg man!!

iteresting tech with the dd trench(i no thats not wat its called). i would recommend running one of each of the lvl 9 crystron, n two of each the quandax n ametrix. i do suggest a mathematician (just to see a foolish burial early or often) n definitely run at least one supply squad. it helps wonders in my opinion.

Consider pot of acquisitiviness. It cna shuffle your tuners in the deck , can be crucial in long lasting matchup-up / games. I only play 1 or 2. Gofu make easy tzolkin and token are useful for non-tuners effect. Instant fusion can be pretty decent too , you can summon sea monster OR panzer dragon with it for tzolkin. Panzer can be decent alone and good ut VS Maxx "C". Norden still useful. Foolish burial ?

In my build, I run doubles of Impact and Entry as they can get cloggy and can come in clutch. Definitely go triple Rion and 1 Quan as Rion and Citree are great in tandem. Aquarium Stage and Salvage are also great tech in as they keep your monsters on board and let you add any of your crystron tuners or non tuners back to your hand except the Synchros. Pot of Aquistiveness also helps as you can get any if your monsters from the banish zone back to the deck and draw, and it helps with Kozmo and ABC matches. But do note that the quick synchro effects can ONLY target machine monsters so cards like, Catastor, Accel Synchron & Formula Synchron can be great. In terms of the field spell, replace 1 Krystolic with a Starlight Junction as the quick synchro trigger an Ignister effect.
@LedZeppelinListener7 жыл бұрын
Team APS, Hi! I've been running Crystrons for a while now. It is a tough deck to find the "perfect" build for, but that just means it is very versatile. You can build it multiple ways. My particular build is meant as a disruption build with a few powerhouse synchros for the attack. Here are my humble suggestions using what I run as a basis. 1) Crystolic potential can be good, but I don't run as many crystron synchos as you do. I would recommend replacing both of yours with a starlight junktion if you can get your hands on them 2) for more draw power, use supply squad. as soon as you pop a crystron using any of their effects, you draw from it. 3) id replace the crystron entry with a solemn 4) I would cut one rosenix, one quan, or one rion and maybe consider jet synchron, steam synchron, a ties of the brethren...if you open with any of the level 3s and ties of the brethren, you can get out trish or quariongandrax on your opponent's turn 5) you don't need to run all machine synchros. The tuners' effects can only be used to summon machine's, but if you build into quandax or accel synchron, they can make anything. I run trish, black rose, black rose moonlight, scarlight, stardust charge warrior, and red dragon archfiend tyrant (that last one is replacable, but i haven't found something i like better yet) as my machines. I am happy to share a decklist if you want. Message me if you're curious.

I Agree with hardleg gaming's points below, with supply squad, starlight junktion and steam synchron being the best cards to further this deck. A few other cards to look at are (and sorry if these have been mentioned before): Monsters: Symphonic engine (guitar and mics) - additional normal summon + a level 5 machine Gofu - level 5 tuner that summons tokens (easier quariongandrax summon) there are some cards in the future that look interesting for this deck, baobaboon being the main one (summon, return tuner or other unwanted card, special sulf, pop bao, summon 2 more bao with a tuner = multiple synchro options on first turn) Spells: Burial from a different dimension - brings back stuff to the grave to use their effects again next turn, or to synchro summon with if you had the grave tuner only or something. D.D.R. Different Dimension Reincarnation - a premature burial from banished zone. Traps: Kings Consonance - basically a negate attack that lets you synchro summon (I usually go crystal wing, since the non tuners can be synchro monsters as well. Reject Reborn - see above (KC) but it summons monsters to the field instead of banishing them to synchro summon. Gravity Collapse - this is a great trap for this deck, by sending a synchro monster from field to the grave, it negates a summon, and destroys that monster and then it prevents all summoning (including normal, but not set) for the rest of that turn. its only downside is that it sends and doesn't destroy your own monster so you don't get the float effect but this card basically says to your opponent, end your turn now. For the extra deck, I run, 1 star eater, 1 of each big crystron, trish, 1 crystal wing, 1 omega, 1 black rose moonlight, 1 powered inzektron, 1 catastor, 2 ametrix and 3 quandax (3 because this is how you make most of your bigger synchros on your opponents turn and you don't want to run out of them to summon. I would like to run (if it is released in the tcg) 1 Superheavy samurai swordmaster musashi (level 5, generic synchro, Earth, machine, effect on summon to add machine monster from grave back to hand). Other options for extra deck to consider are stardust/spark dragon, leo, keeper of the sacred tree, mist worm and accel synchron itself, cydra nova/infinity (ametrix and sulf are both level 5 machines) Unfortunately as much as I love crystrons and how they play they are never going to be a top tier deck but its fun to play and hopefully gets more support in the future.
@brbrian97 жыл бұрын
look at limit overdive. helps get out those lvl 9 synchros. i use it for quasar since i run starlight road. also run a catastor in the extra. i run clear wing and black rose since quandax can quick synchro without the limitation. also maybe look into effect valors. i run 2 to help stun and its also a decent tuner
@gatitovampiro7 жыл бұрын
since i can't find the d*mned recyclers, I use 2 card trooper and 1 reasoning. that fills grave and troop is a good target to crystron's destroy eff. also I run 3 supply squad. and nova/infinity, since running fefnir and ametrix. using the synchron field is also great, you get your synch and get an opponent's card out the field.
@tinkerermelon65997 жыл бұрын
IF + Norden - gives 2 monsters w/o using your NS + the monster can be popped for your tuners. Obligatory Treatoad mention considering the Crystrons' Attributes. Speedroid Engine - puts stuff on field without burning advantage. Symphonic Warrior Engine - Gets out a level 5 Machine for sweet CyDra Infinity plays alongside the lvl 5 Crystron + gives an additional NS. Ties of the Brethren - heavy 2k LP cost, but let's you set up your level 3s. Might need some testing. As a standalone Deck, it's super interesting, but it really doesn't put stuff on the board well. You can pop your own stuff, but that may or may not be the best use of your cards, so these other suggestions help put stuff on board so they can run themselves more smoothly. Gotta try that Starlight Junction idea though...

Pretty good deck man. i personally love the tech choide of christolic potential, although apparently teching in Starlight Junktion, helps out great with blocking your opponent. Depends what way u wanna play it i guess more defensively accumulating ur resources or aggresiv and blocking them or nuking their board, ofcourse this IS the archetype that can fully use that field to its full potentional for the first time ever, junktion that is

Thanks to Sulfefnir, he makes the Deck very faster than before, there are few ways to built a Crystron deck, either if you're mainly focused on the effects during your opponents turn and all, or just synchro summon during your turn, there are a lot of machine synchro decks which this cards can mostly rely on, and that's what makes them interesting. This Deck is a pretty good build, however, I'd be using more of Hi-Speedroid Chanbara instead of Kendama, piercing is good in some cases, but in my personal opinion, the Deck can deal so much more damage if Chanbara gets to be added in it, like, attacking twice and gains 200 ATK per attack (either attacks or attacked) I've used it and it helped me in plenty of duels.

If I was you, I'd drop the kendama and throw in Stardust Charge Warrior to draw on summon then you can use that plus the lvl 4 Synchro to play into Stardust Warrior and be able to stop special summons like Xyz or Contact Fusion or even Synchro and soon to be Link.

I am a Crystron fan, since I like Synchro monsters, and I want to give you some recomandations: - Sulfafnir is the best monster that starts your plays, so having 3 of him could help - Supply Squad is a great spell that, combined with Sulfafnir, can provide you some advantage. - You can add Steam Synchron and Ties of the Bratheren for a Trishula or that Crystron Synchro monster that needs 2 tuners during your opponent's turn. - Baobaboon can help this deck since the level 3 is the best in this deck plus all Crystrons have the effect to pop a card, Baobaboon can be abused by this deck
@polygon27457 жыл бұрын
PurpleTheHedgehog how do you make trishula? Using the synchro tuner monsters? The crystron tuners limit themselves to machine type synchros
@purpleth31997 жыл бұрын
polygon I already said, with Steam Synchron and Ties of the Bratheren, but I will explain: Steam Synchron is a tuner that lets you Synchro Summon on your opponent's turn and it's a level 3. Summon, for example, Steam Synchron then activate Ties of the Bratheren and, either, summon 2 non-tuner monsters for a Trishula on your opponent's turn, or summon 1 more tuner and 1 non-tuner for the Crystron Synchro monster that needs 2 tuners
@Arcani287 жыл бұрын
Personally, Prasiortle is a must have at 3 bc you need to rely on special summoning from your hand as much as you can while youre spec summoning from the deck w sulfefnir and company. it makes insane boards. as far as Potential goes, the extra draw power is not all that great bc it doesnt come until your end phase and it becomes too little too late at that point. chances are, you will only summon one crystron monster during your turn then set up your board w a rion and or citree. so youre getting just one draw off of it after your turn, meaning that supply squads an all round better card bc it is face up, you pop sulfefnir w its own effect or however, then you get the draw on supply squad, and whatever crystron monster you bring out, you can use to pop supply squad after to bring out a tuner monster. I only run 2 citree (2 of each tuner) even though i miss it at times at 3 i think it sucks drawing into too many tuners and i cut it down bc it is very easy to go into quandax w quan and smiger or thystvern. quans literally just a lvl 1 tuner for me, i hardly ever use it's effects, but rion is essential. different dimension deepsea trench (DDDT) is a reat card for this deck but as a 2-of bc it can get cloggy as all hell. I run 1 copy of transmodify also, just 1, and it's been pretty good. im also trying out instant fusion (it's been ok) because if you get out Theseus before you go and pop cards w a crystron non tuner monster other than sulfefnir (once you do you can only special summon machine synchros from the extra deck), then it makes it pretty easy to go into Crystal wing using smiger or thystvern. my objective is to set up a board that allows me to have the option to decide depending on what my opponent is doing, to go into A or B or C so it is good to have citree and rion and quandax together on board w a couple banished monsters you can bring back w ipact and rion, and citree you can use to bring back sulfefnir if you want or use it w quandax to go into quariongandrax. hope this helps.

try running tuning ware and the machine duplication, and drop the morays for this. along with bringing in one fore one. you can get a few free draws this way and if you consider running de-synchro you could plus off of this combo a few times. Of course I'll give some idea to what I mean draw 3 off the dup'd tuning ware possibly draw a de-synchro, get you synchro monsters effect off. then us the de-synchro and synchro again making another synchro maybe even smaller ones like formula synchron and making it a draw 4, and possibly drawing into another de-synchro. also I would also think about the jet synchron for this kind of turbo.

I actually found that Aquarium Set and Stage are actually good cards for this deck since it's primarily Water monsters. Also Starlight Junktion is in my opinion the better field trip because of the fact that it helps disrupt your opponent's plays. Salvage might be good as well. Also Pot of Acquisitiveness is a good card if you run out of impacts and don't have Rions on the field.

SO... One of the best 2 card plays is to have scrap recycler and smiger. 1 summon scrap recycler to dump sulfenir. 2 use sulfenir effect from grave by discarding smiger 3 pop sulfenir with himself to summon prasiortle. 4 pop prasiortle with himself to summon citree 5 use smiger in grave to grab impact and set it 6 pass opponent's turn: 1 use citree effect with prasiortle to make quandax 2 use impact. Two words. Magnet. Reverse. Revive Quandax and use it again for a 2nd synchro play on top of the already existent multiple synchro plays you can do. Revive any of your machine synchros to be fair. Reviving pheonix lets you punish raigeki/darkhole/slumber. That and accel synchron if the deck can make it, either of the black rose synchros, trish, perhaps ancient fairy.

I've been having the most success with a ties of the brethren build. A skeleton looks something like this: x2 Sulfefnir (you want it, but dead in multiples) x3 Thystvern (level 3, searches others) x3 Smiger (level 3, searches traps) x3 Scrap Recycler (dumps Sulfefnir, good synchro food) x1 Steam Synchron (accel synchros and is a level 3 water machine) x2 Rion (one goes for Ties play, the other goes for standard play) x2 Prasiortle (level 2 good for synchro climbing) x3 Citree (best tuner is best) x3 Ties of the Brethren x3 Starlight Junktion x1 Foolish Burial x2-3 Crystron Impact EXTRA: x2 Quandax x1 Ametrix x1 Trishula x1 Phoenix x1 Quariongandrax. Building them is hard. Due to the complicated nature of their plays, there's a lot of ways to form the deck, and a lot of tech options. They all aim for the same tactic, turbo sulfefnir and pop himself, get three monsters or two monsters w/ impact on the field, and wait for the opponent to belly up. From there (and I hate this term) it is preference in build. Though generally I would argue for turn 1 consistency first, defenses second, toolbox third, recovery fourth. I myself prefer cyber dragon infinity, supply squad, mind control, and iron call. Starlight Junktion is a must over Krystolic Potential, since it turns any opponent-turn synchro plays into a second interrupt. Ties + any level 3 water/machine can give you an enemy turn Quariongandrax or Trishula. Whichever ones you summon changes what you can put on the field: Quariongandrax is Thystvern/Smiger alongside of Steam Synchron and Rion. Use Steam Synchron's effect to summon him. Trishula is Thystvern + Sminger and Steam Synchron. This involves getting a level 3 monster onto the field in any way, which the deck can do very easily. Sulfefnir can summon anything, but if you have Rosenix or Prasiortle you can use their effects to blow themselves up and summon Rion. As for combos, I'm pretty terrible at them, and I sort of just feel my way around while playing the deck. The ties one is barely a combo, since it is basically "use ties of the brethren correctly", but there's many more combos in the deck. The only one I really have hammered down is the Smiger + Scrap combo: #1 NS Scrap Recycler, Dump Sulfefnir. #2 Activate Sulfefnir's effect, discard Smiger. Destroy Sulfefnir with his own effect, summon Prasiortle with Sulfefnir's effect. #3: Activate Prasiortles effect, destroy himself to summon Citree. #4: Banish Smiger from the grave, search Crystron Impact, set impact on the field. End Field: Citree, Recycler, set Impact, Prasiortle in grave, Sulfefnir in grave. From here, you can either summon Trishula or Quarionquanwam by doing the following on your opponents turn: #1: Activate Citree's effect, targeting Prasiortle. Synchro into Quandax. Both Citree and Praisiortle are banished here. #2: Activate Cryston Impact. Summon either Prasiortle if you want Trishula, or Citree if you want Quariongandrax. You'll have to make that call on the fly. #3: After Impact finishes, activate Quandax's effect to synchro summon your chosen monster. Or, if step two was butchered somehow, you can summon black rose or black rose moonlght instead by using Scrap Recycler as the non-tuner. Most combos are just a variation of that, depending on what pieces I have. Mostly I just try to go for whatever I'm missing. I.E. if I open scrap recycler and Sulfefnir, I'll dump Thystvyrn to search out Smiger, then toss Smiger with Sulfefnir. Basically that stuff. For a turn 1 Phoenix, the only method I really have is hoping I get a hand with one of the tuners/thystvyrn, and Sulfefnir/Foolish without scrap recycler. Assuming I have thystvyrn in hand, I can do the following play: #1: Activate Sulfefnir's effect to discard thystvyrn. Destroy sulfefnir with his own effect, summon Prasiortle with Sulfefnir's effect. #2. Banish thystvyrn to search out citree. Normal summon citree. #3: Activate Prasiortle's effect to destroy himself. Special summon rion from the deck. End Field: Rion, Citree, Prasiortle in Grave, Sulfefnir in Grave. Enemy turn: #1: Activate Citree's effect targeting Prasiortle. Synchro into Quandax. Both Citree and Prasiortle are banished here. #2: Activate Rion's effect targeting Prasiortle. Synchro into Ametrix. Both Rion and Prasiortle are shuffled into the deck. Ametrix switches all monsters your opponent controls to defense mode. Timing is crucial here, since this is the part where you are most likely to be interrupted. Against pendulums you would want to make this play before they pendulum summon, but against other decks you'll want to do this either when they get out something dangerous or they're about to attack. #3: Activate Quandax's effect to synchro into Phoenix during the correct timing, either before they pendulum summon or at the end of main phase two when they've set their spells and traps. This combo is really helped out if Junktion or a trap is on the field, that way Quandax is a form of removal. There are a lot more combos, but I'm a simple player at heart, so anything more complicated than "activate polymerization" strains the mind.

For other variants, I have limited knowledge. The deck isn't as xenophobic as you'd think: Brilliant Fusion, Speedroids, and Symphonics show up in this deck. It follows the same logic: get several bodies on the field, synchro summon something big next turn. The materials you synchro with can be anything, so go nuts with tech monsters. In future builds, it may be more engine heavy, to throw down some links. Karakuri's can mesh well with the deck for some synchro laddering. Regular synchrons and Tuning make an appearance, as Accel Synchron is a machine type. Gofu allows for some simple Sync 8 plays (Lord Omega is great here), and the tokens can be free pops for tuner summons. Burning abyss was an old school option. Farfa + Quon play really well together, merging their plays into one. I also used dandylion for a similar play. Since quon's monsters hit the field then hit the graveyard,they can trigger numerous effects. Mermail decks will occasionally throw crystrons in for a mini synchro engine. Though it is hard, Crystrons can make toad. Instant fusion helps with this. Though the machne synchro toolbox isn't that wide, there's still some good options. Ally of Justice, Catastor is a really underrated card, especially when it lands in the battle phase. Armory Arm is a simple one that can boost the deck's mediocre attack ceiling. Accel Synchron can help get by some level difficulties. Chanbara can throw down some quick damage. Dark Strike Fighter is a Gagaga Cowboy play.

Cool fact: Crystrons, Metalfoes and Zoodiacs all have a trap card depicting them fighting a True King of the same attribute
@aal09107 жыл бұрын
you need triple sulfafnir. Clearly, no debating. It's the best card in the deck. Also starlight junktion will be way more useful than anything potential will do for you. If you need draw power, supply squad can help since it's never really dead thanks to sulfanir and the non tuners. overall, decent profile.
@olivierdevries65437 жыл бұрын
You don't need 3... you clearly never played this deck or something. You only need 1 in graveyard. Drawing 2 kinda suck and is useless. I do agree on junktion.
@aal09107 жыл бұрын
You want to see it in your opening hand as much as possible.....why would you not run 3. It's the same principle as a card like brilliant fusion. No offense, but have you ever used the deck? At least competitively? Because you want to sulfanir as much as possible to proc crystron grave effects as well as floating into another non tuner to float into a crystron, usually citri.

@Tristan_jpg7 жыл бұрын
Green Apple They never were that viable in the first place, but depending on what your opponent is playing you might have some chances if you have a really strong build. If winning is the only thing that matters for you, you may want to look somewhere else. I've been playing those little guys for a while because I love the art of the cards and the fact that it slows down duels. Also people , will most likely hate you because it's pretty anoying for the opponent. If you're searching for a cheap deck to build IRL, feel free to ask, if you want advices about Ghostrick, I can provide some too.

Team Countdown Normal baobaboon, special sulfefnir, pop sulfefnir and special a non-tuner, which then pops baobaboon to make another, even better if you discarded praisetortle since you can then banish him to special summon a crystron in hand.
