Mahhad and Dark magician are the same people. Idk how to explain it simply but in the last season of the original yugioh Mahad is Yamis friend and gets turned into the Dark Magician.

Hey Shady, since it seemed like ya didn’t know: In the anime, the pharoh’s magic teacher was Mahad. And Mahad’s apprentice was named Mana. They both infused their souls into monsters, so that they could always protect their king. That’s the dark magician and dark magician girl cards. Palladium oracle mana and mahad are the cards of the actual people themselves.

Also Mahad's "Ka" (his soul, like Jojo's stand) is Illusion Magician (look exactly like Magician of Dark Illusion card) He sacrifice himself (by letting swinging Axe trap killed him) Fused his soul with his body and become Dark Magician to stop Thief King Bakura(And Zorc Necrophades).

You might want to try Invoked Magician Girls. Aleistor The Invoker is a spellcaster so it works with Magicalized Fusion AND the Magician Girls have attributes that work with the Invoked fusion monsters.

Magician Girls is actually the deck that I main. I play only 1 copy of Dark Magician Girl though. 3 copies of both kiwi because it's a hand trap to boost atk power and berry because it's a searcher. Then 2 copies each of chocolate, apple and lemon. I play 3 copies of magicalized fusion to make getting a copy more consistent. Plus I also play a card called "Into The Void". If you have both Chocolate and into the void in your hand you can pull off a nice double draw combo, then at the end of your turn you get to dump all the cards in your hand into the graveyard. Really easy way to get your magician girls there really fast. Plus chocolate upon being attacked can summon any of those magician girls from your graveyard to help you out.

If you wanna salvage your purchase of dark magician girls add invoker to it. Drop the DM girls, 1 Kiwi, 1-2 Chocolate and a magicalized fusion for 3 Invoker, 2 Invocion and another berry. Ditch your XYZ for the Purgatrio x3, Cockatus, Caliga, Magellanica. Mahad can be nice for blackwings or another lemon because she can search for Invoker. Quintet still works with Invoker as he's a spellcaster. Wouldn't recommend going for fortune ladies with the amount of Shiranui around being banished isn't a real problem for them or she'll just get karma cut/fiendish chain.

I like you dude so I give some advice: Add some invokers cards to this deck, too. Furthermore ,one magician circle or 2 traps which summon spellcasters would be nice. And the most important thing one grass greener or needle nest to boost your graveyard with spellcasters and then use your 'magic card' to fuse quintet magician- this part is the most IMPORTAN !

Shady... fortune lady's used to be competitive... however due to power creep and the introduction to cards like raigeki break, karma cut, fiendish chain, ballista squad, as well as floodgate and Canadia the deck is really tough to use.

Seems like shady does not know about the "garnet effect", if a card is better in the deck, the chances of opening it increases. I play ritual beast with draw sense high level and lava golem and always open with the golem.

Try the invoke engine maxed out on invocations and alister and lose Mahad and play 2 chocolates, 2 apples, 1 kiwis, and try dropping the controllers with either karma cuts or fiendish chains, invocation will work to summon out quintet

Made a similar deck myself i added 3 fortune fairy cards red blue and yellow. Yellow so I could fetch berry to put on the field Red to smash face downs and spells/traps Blue to remove big monsters to go straight for the face of my opponent

20 is minimum for Duel Links. And Exodia is only available with a skill that adds the pieces to the deck at the start of the duel. So there is currently no way to have a 20 card Exodia deck in the game.

I used to play Dark Magician Girl in the normal tcg way back then. 40 cards deck only one Mahad. The amount of times I drew him in the first hand almost made me quit the deck.

So fortune ladies. They are a good deck, but they're not competitive. Here are fortune ladies weaknesses; 1, very weak to trap cards and negates. As you saw, they do have a lot of draw spells. But those spells rely on having fortune ladies on the field. For example, had you econ taken the first fortune lady immediately you would have stopped the opponent from going off. 2, slow boss monster. 2800 attack is not very much compared to other beefier boss monsters. You also have to wait a whole turn to use her banishing effect and even then she can only banish face up monsters. Furthermore you don't even get to choose when she banishes. 3, the fortune lady engine takes up a lot of space do there's not a lot of room for traps. This means they don't have very good set-up when going first.
