My theory KaibaCorp is Secretly Recording all the Major Dueling events in History. And is using the data to create these Selfaware A.I. I mean everyone is Using their Duel disk.

@@jackb450 there is actually it’s just very poorly put together cause they don’t wanna exclude newer players from the overall plot. So I’ll give a breakdown. Duel links started with OG yugioh world based off the anime post battle city. But the kicker here is as things go on the world starts replicating people and events which gets pointed out by yami bakura stating it’s a game world manipulated by kaiba. It goes further when yami marik gets introduced and the world recreates him and the wing dragon of ra. But then it creates another RA for the player and even marik is unsure whether it’s fake or the RA he has is fake as well. Some time passes and the super Pegasus event has Pegasus thinking to himself how he has created duel monsters but thinks there’s a power beyond kaiba controlling events within duel links like an outside force is manipulating past events/individuals and recreating them. Fast forward to the GX world that takes place after the yubel incident. It comes out that everything up to that point was jadens memory of the events leading up to his fusion with Yubel and thus everything after which is why we saw jaden in his younger appearance up to that point. This is why supreme king and yubel acknowledge they shouldn’t exist in this world but both simultaneously are individuals and parts of jaden at the same time. They’re memories given form. Same situation with 5Ds happening after the Grand Prix but before the zone incident. The dark signers, goodwin, Bruno and the meklords all question how they can exist in that same period of time since one only existed originally because of the demise of the other changing the course of history. Now this all comes together with the DSOD world. It turns out all these worlds and events of the anime canon are creations of the duel links world. Holograms that dsod kaiba consider better than the human counterparts if he loses against them in duels. Everything being manipulated in og DM world are all factors kaiba had manipulated up until the world essentially took control on its own spanning into the yugioh spin-offs we know that aren’t canon to the manga aka DSOD world. It’s all very poorly put together but it’s so interesting what Konami could do if they sat down and actually ironed a plot out. It doesn’t help everything is treated as being done before the finale of each series but that’s the jank of trying to avoid spoilers. If someday duel links was to be on its final days maybe they’d put it all together to finalize it all.

I find sarrow in Sartorius. He and Jaden are both heavily corrupted by something they have no control over. It torments them to keep them under its control and advocates for something they would never do. When I saw the shock on Sartorius's face, I kinda thought it was the real him for a second, as he did care about Jaden and was freed by the time the Supreme King came around. Maybe it's just me, but it's hard to see them clash and act bold when their real selves are suffering.

As much as I would agree with you, I honestly think the Gentle Darkness & the original wielder of that power - Haou - took control of Jaden because Haou knew that completing Super Polymerization was the key to stopping Yubel and get her back to her senses (yes, I address Yubel with female pronouns because Cassandra Lee Morris is great as Yubel and deserves more credit than she got and because I'm watching the GX 4Kids dub). Yes, Jaden was forced to do something he would never do, but it was really for a good cause in the end. Also, I really like Supreme King's interaction with Alexis. Alexis really feels bad for her decision to just go along with Jaden into the Duel Monsters Spirit World without asking him and telling Jaden what she said before she was sacrificed to Super Polymerization, as seen with her sorrowful look when she says "You're the Supreme King..." and "I heard what happened in that other dimension, but... But I can't believe Jaden transformed into the Supreme King." Plus, Haou isn't coldhearted towards Alexis at all: he understands that Alexis would do everything that she could to help Jaden. I really like that.

Also: I just realized... Duel Links is the first true voiced appearance of the 4th season Jaden. Does Kaiba have any other monsters BESIDES Blue Eyes that he can play to avoid that? Probably not. And the fact that Haō can use the 超融合 (super fusion) card and use his opponent’s monsters as fusion materials (meaning that he can use Kaiba’s Blue Eyes to fuse into his monsters. It was shown in the anime that Haō can do that as long as he has that spell card. So uh, yeah

There's only a few options you have. Yubel Gate card farming. Kuriboh tickets. And Dream Tickets. Kuriboh tickets come every once in awhile for point grind to get them And Dream tickets happen rarely, like a new world release or something else.

Judai/Yubel is the one who duel with Yugi and Yusei in the movie (and yes he has line in duel with them too) so to have Supreme King had line with them make no sense

@@tientruong6236 It'd make almost no sense for Supreme King Jaden to recognize Yugi and Yusei (he'd maybe recognize Yugi but definitely not Yusei), but it makes sense the other way around. Seeing Yugi and Yusei "post-Bonds Beyond Time" reacting to this version of Jaden and challenging him so they can try to turn him back to normal would of been a neat little easter egg, especially since this event is not exclusively a GX event despite the story/dialogue revolving around it.

@@gabeitches87 i think the story Konami try to tell in Duel Links is that every the characters in their own dimension world to re-experience their dimension story in the anime but also keep the story just at that dimension. Also, I think this event is Gx exclusive from the story respective, like the Chronicle event, you can use other Duelist from other world to progress. Characters need to have interaction to each others in the anime first for them to make the characters in DL recognize each others, Yusei and Yugi only meet the Judai/Yubel version not the old Judai and Supreme King, i guess that the reason why Konami wont do it (The time that 3 of them met each others are way past the point in Judai life)

I like how this implies that the moment Zane is mended of his heart condition he goes right back to using cyberdarks and becoming the Hell Kaiser all over again. He becomes best Zane once more.
