If you think modern Yugioh is silly then you most likely lack any understanding of the game as a whole. The direction of the game hasn’t changed in the past 10+ years smh.

​@@emmahas2moms8038 Never said the direction changed. I quit because of the direction. It's silly now because it has reach the pinnacle of that direction at least from what I see in these replays. Obviously my knowledge of the game now is superficial but I played a lot of yugioh from post fusion's all the way through pendulums. Played variations of E-heros, lightsworn, chaosSworn, Qli's and Spellbooks just to name a few. My big issue with yugioh has always been the direction of the game. I never liked how each new architype/deck was all about building towards a uncounterable win condition as quickly as possible. I was able to tolerate things like Towers because at least players have turns to sort out how to stop the win condition, but things just keep escalating and now it looks like you can reliably FTK or STK with a super competitive deck. Unless you drew perfectly towers would take at least a few turns to set up with QLI's, those turns make the game fun, interesting and varied. Not the same thing every single game. This deck looks like you always win in the first 3 turns or you surrender. Do you know how boring that is?!
