YUGIOH Fire King Tri Brigade Test Hand Combos

In the first hand you will lose to Droll if you summon Ponix first. A smart player won't usually shut down Ponix with Ash Blossom but will save it for Fire King Island. It only really stops Impermanence, though, but someone might hold off and hit Garunix with it, so I think it's smarter not to start with Ponix. Overall, the deck's weak spots are Ash on Fire King Island and Impermanence on Kerass with the Fraktall start. So you always gotta be ready for your opponent to pull these moves and adjust your strategy. Like I said before, Droll is a real pain in the ass for the deck since you do a lot of searching. Grab the most important card first, even if it means risking an Ash Blossom, especially in games 2 and 3. The deck can usually handle one Ash, but getting hit by Droll is a tough blow. I usually search Garunix first, if I can, or a Tri-Brigade card so I can at least end on Apollousa or the Ancient Warrior Link 2. As for Nibiru, it's not a big deal if you pay attention. Use Garunix (sending Barong) and summon Bearbrumm before you hit that fifth summon, so, even if Nibiru comes down, you still get to search for Kirin and Revolt. And we've got Arvata in the deck, adding an extra layer of defense. Sometimes, you can even set up Apollousa before hitting that fifth summon.

Late comment here but i use scareclaw tri-heart in my build and it helps SO much as an apo replacement now that shes gone. Great video!

Garunix destruction effect bypasses ash blossom since the card gets sent to grave by game mechanic rather than an effect (indirectly as oppose to directly ie. foolish burial)

I absolutely love the Tri build, pre-release it was the first engine i was drawn to and i love it, the only Sinful stuff i run is 2 Original Spoils along with 1, One for One, Original has some nice synergy with the Tri monsters and Tenki, its nice. All that said, during testing i did decide to cut Apollousa completely from my build for now, in such a Talents/Thrust heavy format, the game is basically over if they Talent steal your Apollousa, its heart wrenching honestly...

But what do you end on that does not play into Talents? I agree that having apo stolen without Imperm or Skyburn it will be pretty much over, but in the other cases Apo + Fire King Disruptions win hard

@@kohlenstoffmonoxid1215 it's mainly the fact that Talents can steal it, there aren't many decks/end boards that don't play into Talents in some way, Apollousa is just very punishing in that regard. The first combo is suboptimal. If you banish 4 and link away shuraig you get 2 extra bodies which results in either a 4 material apolousa or an additional link 2 on top of your 2 mat apo.

Super late but can i play decode talker heatsoul as my link 3 i also noticed that rugal is used and wasnt in the original deck list why is that?

Can't really use headsoul you'd have to go out your way to make it, rugal should have be in the origonal list, if not must have missed it by accident

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh thanks for the feedback, I would also like to apologize, it would seem you have 2 different fire King tri-brigade deck lists, one from 6 months ago the $100 structure deck upgrade and one from 5 months ago, which do you think is better I would assume the one from 5 months ago is more up to date and the other is just a simple upgrade to the 3x structure deck.

@PengWinKZbin depends on the version you want to go with. Dogmatika is more reserved (maintain more in hand advantage) Tribrigade produces more board advantage. Budgets may have changed in the current period, but both are strong in their own ways and fun. I'd advise testing both versions out online and see which one matches your playstyle more then focus on that route

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh thanks I appreciate this feedback as well, but just to be clear I do mean you have 2 tri brigade decks. Here is the second video of yours kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2ebhoN5n9-CiNksi=o32crYFd5VPbqG2o This one for example plays 2 kitt and an extra nervall, doesn't play one for one with 1 snake eye ash and plays different extra deck cards. It seems in the video this one is built after more testing from the structure deck video and I would assume that deck is more refined in this video.

I hate my life this deck seems fire but i only played despia before so i have 0 link monsters and little knight, apollousa, masquerena and underworld goddess cost so much (at least for me, a 16 yo student)

You can just play a budget version without those, like dogmatika, Tribrigade or sinful, all 3 budget versions are on the channel.
