Havent even watched the vid yet but i agree. Rather more middler archetypes (while the current ones get phased out by the FnL lists) than aggressive handtraps/boardbreakers that try to stop aggressive T1 strategies

Yes and no, you're 100% right about wanting milder archetypes that don't go berserk off one card. We need that. However I think this particular archetype being Xyz based and not having access to Zeus (and a huge portion of other Xyz monsters) is going to do nothing more than bite it in the ass in the long run.

I think part of the issue is just that the deck doesn't really have sauce, it makes Rank 4s and that's about it. And R4nk has already been done a lot.

Yeah. I am super Confused about that. Even so, this Archetype has the Craziest summoning power as all they request is to have One Card Member on the field or in the Grave for them to do that! This deck is still gonna be on Crack, but it’s gonna be a fun and really compatible deck with Stuff like Utopia or Time Thieves.

Because Yugioh, as a game without Set rotation, needs to fuck up the meta big time with dedicated banlists for milder Archetypes to be anything more than mediocre

Just because there's a special summon lock doesn't mean you won't use Zeus. Zeus sees play in decks like Madolche and Exosister even though their plays lock them into their archetypes.

Dang bro I know that the archetype's mecha design is meant to evoke the imagery of those around 2010 Showa era super robot revivals but it didn't also need a playstyle of around that time.

So they make a fair deck that's fun to play against in front of play with and here people are complaining that it's too weak. Do you want yugioh to be more fun to play or not?

A deck shouldn’t be neutered from playing good cards. Vanquish soul is a fair deck that is fun but also strong when played correctly. This deck is weak in every form. Also, rank 4 decks are boring as hell, it’s the most common of all the decks so of course people aren’t going to like it

As an Ordained Minister, whom also enjoys Yu-Gi-Oh, im happy to welcome any cards that say f Zeus. He sucks as both a pegan diety and a Yu-Gi-Oh card. And this Archetype is just more proof that konami is delving into alternative eternal formats like MTG has. Otherwise why make 2015 xyz spam support.

the deck has a good design idea as a fair deck, but it loses having an indentity being a rank 4 deck. rank 4 is the basic of the basic rank for an xyz deck, having it be rank 3, 5 or 6 would have been more interesting for a pure XYZ one rank deck.
