I've played spellbook at my local and its still really good deck for me... the key is just jowgen for stoping your opp ss... id use 3 of jowgen, for special summoning (for link) i got 2 high priestess, 2 the tricky, 3 jester confit, 1 infus (winda / thousand eyes / millennium-eyes), 1 mathematican, 1 trick clown, ofc 3 secret, 2 knowledge, 2 eternity, 1 power, 2 master, 2 life, 1 crescent, 1 tower, 2 wisdom, 1 star hall (this is the searcher for jowgen), 3 fate, 1 upstart goblin, 1 foolish burial, 1 pot of avarice, 1 monster reborn. Extra deck : el shaddoll winda, thousand eyes, millennium eyes, linnkuriboh, avramax, zeroboros, knightmare unicorn and phoenix, 3 crowley, 1 day-breaker, 1 selene, 1 rank 5 prophecy

Ss jester then normal summon blue boy.. i forgot to put the blue boy on my comment.... oh yea, then link to crowley, the ratio for getting jowgen is ab 70% (drawing) and with star hall or if i didnt has jowgen i just use winda.... the worse part is just avramax and with 1 spellcaster then pass (ofc there's fate tht been set since put it to 3 will make it easier to get)

that's pretty awesome! I'd definitely recommend more interesting plays you could do. I like the idea of the tricky and other stuff so that you always have a spellcaster on board for the stuff that requires it. allows you to activate knowldge more willy-nilly to remove stuff from board. Keep it up!

@@TeamTimeRiders thnks, i got 6th place at my local from 20 duelist... still tho kinda hard when the opponent using sky striker deck which is the distruption is a lot, to protect jowgen i just using link kuriboh, avramax, fate and selene (which is this just an optional so i can ss it again to stop my opp if gonna ss)... for siding i use prophecy the world this really good if going first agains such a deck like altergeist which is i can pop out other card on the field

@@saskara6641 yeah thats a problem but that's why I have things like Secret Village in here to stop other spell decks. reason I like your build the way you've assembled it is that you don't run into the typical issues I run into with Secret Village. If I have no spellcasters out on board, the card kills me. But assemble a good play against sky strikers, and you've got yourself a solid contender for a side deck choice. There's also this new blizzard card that came out that i think is perfect against sky strikers. it negates an opponent's spell and sends it back to their hand and they cant activate a card with that name for the rest of the turn after that. its even a quick play spell card so you can activate it during either player's turn and stop their disruption. striker players often like to bait out negations to get stuff in grave but since this sends it back to their hand, they're pretty much back to square one in that respect. Priestess banishes from HAND as well not just from grave to destroy a card on the field.... great profile but idk about village , maybe more traps and side village?

Oh wow yes I forgot to mention that haha. One of the reasons it’s so good. As for village, I’m split on it too. It’s super awesome against my opponents but the unavoidable fact is that it has bricked me in more games than 1. Recommendations to run with village for traps? Open to any and all suggestions!

Team Time Riders i was planning on trying imperial order and summon limit in my build once I get the cards in for lockdown. The 700 lp is optional do I can kill it when I need to make plays and summon limit bc you shouldn’t be overly summoning anyway to make it a hindering factor for you

Dope deck! Tho, why don't you run the Left & Right Hands of the Magician? As long as you control a Spellcaster, you shutdown your opponent.

Great idea! Never considered them but will definitely look into them. As of right now though, I usually like to ditch my on-field spellcasters for knowledge but open to any suggestions to speed up the deck!

You don't need 3 fate that's too many just run two because it will brick

Devon Boyd nah. Tested at 2. It didn’t work for me personally. You don’t do enough searching in this version of the deck, especially at the start of the game. You’ll either get towers or fate and you need both. Towers can be a brick far more often than fate, and your graveyard is loaded far faster with knowledge then it had in the past.

Fate at 3 means I can rely on hard drawing it and the spell books that I actually want to see in hand. If I draw even just one of the books that I would have had to search for, it makes my boards much better and my life much easier :). Not to mention fate’s two other effects are incredibly useful as well!

@@TeamTimeRiders But fate is once per turn so it's not like having more will change that. But if you feel 3 is better run 3. I feel the deck searches well enough to get your answers on it's own. Not really much to search for going first when it comes to targets
