@@thecalieffect Goblin Bikers imo. They have really good consistancy and play through hand traps really really well. The deck isn't CRAZY strong but it is quite good especially with the fs engine. In other words: "BIG GABONGA SOLOS".

Engines are killing deck building. And it allows for weak card design for new and legacy support by Konami,allowing them to make decks still just barely unable to be viable unless you mash one of the top played engines in them. Oh you want to play a fusion deck? Make sure you’re playing branded in it. You want to play a lv2 deck? Make sure you’re playing spright in it. Fiendsmith. Azamina. Snake eyes. In everything. If you have to play a better deck in your rogue deck to make it optimal, you’re not playing optimal rogue. You’re playing an unoptimal version of a better deck

An issue with engines is how big engines are nowadays, needing a lot of cards. And no, 3 fenrir is not considered an engine The real issue is the staples, mainly handtraps and boardbreakers. Now you have easy 9-15 cards chosen for you

I do like the top decks, but all in all when it comes to locals just play what you enjoy playing whether it’s Meta or top tier or not. I still play Adamancipators and I absolutely love the deck! Super fun! Great video

My nephew and I tend to keep things casual, but if I were to ever get into meta, I think I'd lean towards centurion or something involving synchro summoning. I'm just a fan of synchro. Next would probably involve snake eyes just for the sake of trying to splash in cards that don't make sense lol. Dragon link would be a strong 3rd deck for me. Your last video involving bystials and resonators is something I can see myself playing. This would all be on master duel. Great video. Stay blessed.

9:39 Slight correction with Chaos Angel and this is VERY important for those who are unaware. Chaos Angel is only unaffected by ACTIVATED monster effects. It is still VULNERABLE against CONTINUOUS monster effects like Bagooska.

I've been having an awful time playing centurion and kash-turion. Im trying next week just pure Kashtira to see if i can win a game this week. Uninterupted the deck goes HARD, but pure centurion or kashturion can dodge one maybe two interuptions, and typically there's at least 3 at locals.

Something to consider about Tenpai is that about 99% of games won by Tenpai could generally be won without Trident Dragion and Tenpai is still about as good at the moment without Fuwalos(Because you'll only get 2 draws max out of people who aren't stupid enough to play that hard with decks that have almost no natural ability to go 2nd and the only exception to that is some Snake-Eyes lines and maybe some Unchained lines.) and Dominus Impulse.

Technically engines like the Adventure engine has been doing something similar in power to the Fiendsmith and Azamina engines for as little as a 6 card engine its just that you were encentivized by cards like Dracoback to run a larger Adventure engine. Its nothing new that engines have the ability to ruin the game especially if they are so small that you can combine 2-4 of them in a 40 card deck. A prime example of that was Branded because if you didn't have your Ash Blossom back in the day in your opening hand Branded Fusion was almost a instant win and the only thing you could realistically do is hit them with Evenly Matched or be killed on the crack back when you didn't OTK them because if their insane resource loop and for a time when Cartesia and Quem was first out Branded was almost to unfair when people who actually knew how to play the deck instead of spewing the nonsense that Branded Fusion is everything and that the deck can't function without it. Needless to say the more compact a deck becomes or is the more broken the game gets with every generic and compact engine engine added but at same time if a deck is allowed be as compact as Snake-Eyes and Ryzeal and generic at the same time its the difference between people run around with 20+ hand traps/board breakers or running around a mix of non-engine and broken engines. In my opinion the only way to fix the game is to make it return to a formula that makes us run engines like the Frightfur Patchwork engine that fills up to 6 main deck slots to increase our ability to play around hand traps to level of modern Yu-Gi-Oh decks we have today. The biggest mistake Konami has made is making decks consistent and resilient without making decks such as Ryzeal and Snake-Eyes sacrifice most of their non-engine slots as consequence of their consistency and resilience. On the surface consistency isn't a bad thing but extenders Snake-Eyes has has already demonstrated the problems that can be created when consistency and resiliency are combined but if a deck is made to compact, resilient, and consistent all at the same time the non-engine and side engines makes it almost impossible to contain and manage.
