Luna is canonically 11 at this point, if 8 years ago she was beating some of the best duelists at THREE either they were pretty horrible duelists, OR they were liars, because I cannot imagine late teens to mid-thirty year old's (at minimum), with who knows how many years of experience and training, and probably some of the best cards in the game at that point, somehow LOSING TO A THREE YEAR OLD.

Basically the only time we'll see her duel when her character had an interesting duel theme. So disappointed they didn't take the time to let her some and duel on her own as a badass later in the series. Instead they made her basically useless or only dueling with someone else. Especially when you know that between her and her brother she is the clever one.

Ikr? Her being replaced by Leo for the majority of the duel against the Dark Signer was frustrating! I was like okay fine, maybe she'll get treated better later on. Nope, she keeps relying on someone in all of her duels. Leo in the duel against Lester in which they were defeated so easily that it was laughable, and relying on Jack and Leo for the duel against Aporia in which Leo is the star of the duel. She's suppose to be this prodigy but we never get to really see it, it was disappointing.

It didn’t help either that Luna’s Dragon was the only one who was inherently weakened in Speed Duels. Ancient Fairy Dragon couldn’t activate its lifepoint giannand field spell search effect since Speed World cannot be turned off in Speed Duels. I love Luna... I wanted to see her duel and beat the crap out of everyone with her prodigy skills.. ;-; Even Leo states and talks about how Luna is actually a better duelist then him. And he wants her to show off her skills and make him proud. Too bad this is a “boy” anime. So every girl gets shafted by the boys in the end. Even Aki got shafted after her little ark.

Yugi was 15 when he beat the guy who invented the game Kaiba was younger than yugi and basically a kid when he beat gozaboro at chess the best there was Blair was 8 when she almost beat jaden who than was 15 ( they cannonly say this) And dont forget about rebecca hawkins who despite being a kid beat Vivian a grown ass adult who was one if the best in the world Is it hard to believe that a 3 year old could beat a grown up? yes But luna was'nt just an average 3 year old on top of being a child prodigy she could speak to duel spirits and likely had a close bond with her deck the way jaden or jesse did. So yes it is absolutely possible That being said the reason we dont see a lot from her later on in tge series is likely because like akiza her character most likely got pushed to the background
