I think the main reason Dreamcatcher (and other groups) USUALLY do abbreviated covers is that the licensing costs for a 2 minute edit are dramatically lower than for the full song. These special clips are done on a shoestring budget - saving a substantial amount of money on licensing makes doing these clips financially feasible.

Just like you, I heard this song before the original. I just listened to the original by 24kGoldn....It too is only 2:30...Dreamcatchers version sound Identical to the original. But of course you have Yoohyeon and Dami........So DC wins ....but the original as 450Mil views....So I guess they win too.$$$
