I like Todo at first glance you would think he's a muscle head and then he ends up being one of the smartest characters in the series Also when todos arm was cut off he tricked mahito by attempting to clap his stomp of an arm and that distracted mahito enough for Yuji to land the black flash

That is the point Mahito made. There's no good or evil in this fight, they're both fighting a war for their own idea of justice. Neither one of them is wrong, they're just different. Curses want to roam, live, and act as is in their nature, killing humans. Humans want to kill curses, so they can live, roam, and as in their nature. There's no difference between them, we just obviously start this show with the bias that curses are bad because they kill humans. As if it's not humans fault curses exist in the first place.
