Just gonna say. Jogo had more than enough times to hit Sukuna, but Sukuna would always shut it down with cleave or dismantle, and that was clarified extremely well in the anime. Whether it was slamming two buildings together, or swarming him with Lava, sending rapid Ember Insects at Sukuna, he was always safe thanks to those techniques. Sure, Maki got up close with Sukuna, So did Jogo, but Sukuna didn’t have a full power cursed technique to fall back on if it were to look rough.

Good point, though I think part of that is just Sukuna playing around with Jogo. When he really needed to dodge - like when a literal meteor was gonna be dropped on him - he dodged with ease. Letting the two buildings hit him then get cleaved apart was probably just to show off.

He dodged the initial impact, however, one of his cores were killed from the wave after the fact, and that’s why he was in Gorilla Mode for the rest of the arc. It’s a mode that eats up his CE like crazy, his words, so it doesn’t make sense for him to be in it after the fact, unless he was forced into it. Kusakabe also received damage, but likely mitigated it with Simple Domain.

I think any scenario where Megumi gets an opportunity to use Domain Expansion is one where Yuji should be able to land a Black Flash. The only reason why he hadnt landed one at all post Shibuya until present day, was because he wasn't in any scenarios where he would want, need, or be able to. Naoya - He wouldnt reasonably be able to hit him Yuta - He wasn't in the mindset to land a Black Flash because he was in flight mode initially and the fight was cut short Plane/Helicopter - Too weak for it to be necessary Higuruma - No CE Meguna - Fight was cut short And then no more fights until post Gojo. Not that he would need Black Flash against Reggie, but he should have it as a possible option

I think Yuji actually would have a chance of harming Dagon If we assume Hanami is the most durable disaster curse that would mean Dagon is susceptible to Yuji’s base punches and Black Flashes, so I think if Naobito and Yuji make a team effort to jump Dagon while his technique is burned out then they should be fine

true but one of them I don't agree with is him losing Kamo, it makes 0 sense, sure the black flash amp did improve his strength but before that Yuji with reinforced CE is easily able to severely damage, if not one-shot Kamo. Hes also smart enough to close the gap, we see in the this in the fight against Choso, Kamo doesn't have as much blood as choso so he wouldn't be able to use the beam as long as him. Also, the Black Flash improves the user's understanding of their CE flow, I don't see how that can improve his speed.

Kamo can use Piercing blood, but he can't keep it going as long as choso could, at best it could be just bursts of it. Yuji could bait Kamo and do the same thing with Choso except Kamo isn't surviving any 2 punches from Yuji.

in the fight between kamo and itadori, i dont think that kamo would be spammin piercing blood all that much because unlike choso he does not have (nearly) as much blood to spare as kamo is not a death painting, even with the blood bags that he carried around in the goodwill arc it would still be only a few piercing bloods. (i can't give an exact number on how many piercing bloods he could dish out because i dont remember how bags of blood he had and im not gonna go back and count.) edit: someone else (a while back) also pointed out that kamo's piercing blood is directly stated to be slower than choso's

From that allow it is safe to say better Blood Manipulation Users that utilize more Compression have stronger and faster Piercing Blood. On the dagon fight, if Yuji does break into the domain it won't completely dispel it as shown my Mahito's domain attack still hitting Yuji (which proc'ed Sukuna to save him). So if he did try and fight in the domain he'd suffer the same fate as Nanami and co, worse even. And Dagon probably has some of the best domain refinement so without a cursed tool I doubt Toji would even save them in that case.

I think early series the two have such different kits that I don’t find the question very entertaining but I do think Shibuya onward have some good matchups. Here’s my opinion in order of the fights I remember Yuji and Megumi Vs inverse guy- Yuji, kinda a throwaway fight. Yuji vs Dagon- depends on how we set it up. If it’s 1:1 timing then… he loses Ig bc he’d have to break into a domain and that wouldn’t stop the sure hit just give it a new target. If he’s allowed to be posted with Naobito, Nanami and Maki pre domain then easy Dub. Yuji vs Toji- I think Yuji even at the point he was at during Megumi fighting him would do way better in close quarters than Megumi and could survive if he somehow lead Toji to a stronger opponent. Toji kills Him in a prolonged fight. Yuji vs Haruto- Wuji W that sword prolly won’t even cut him. Yuji vs Reggie and his Gang- Yuji could counter Hazanokis exploding body parts till Takaba gets there, and in a 1v1 scrap Reggie is getting absolutely cooked by Yuji. Good video, but a few things. Kamo's piercing blood is never stated to be just as fast as Choso's. The two attacks are put in panel next to each other but nothing about that implies they are the same speed, just that they are the same attack. Kamo comments on how he perceives Choso's convergence to have such an extreme pressure and the fact that Yuji can't do convergence in recent chapters suggests it is a skill that people can perform with different levels of efficacy. This is to say that kamo's piercing blood does not scale to Choso's in speed just because they are the same ability. Secondly, Yuji breaking dagon's barrier from the outside would not collapse the domain. Its stated directly after Yuji breaks into Mahito's barrier that breaking into a barrier serves no benefit to the person that enters, suggesting the barrier wouldn't collapse. Furthermore, if making a hole in the barrier could collapse the domain, that would have happened when megumi created an escape route in Dagon's domain. Its never stated that all yuta had to do to collapse his domain was make a hole in it. The hole is formed because yuta is collapsing the domain willingly, not because the hole is the cause of the collapse. Lastly, Reggie vs Yuji at this point is NOT close. Yuji and Megumi were relative in speed in Shibuya. Since then, Yuji has gotten a HUGE amp as Choso describes. Even if you don't think Yuji is faster, his AP now scales Yuta. We know this is a different dimension of AP because Yuta is able to lightly chop Choso's neck and knock him out. In contrast to Shibuya Yuji who, while could do significant damage choso, would require multiple attacks to put Choso down. Yuji already had better AP/durab stats than Megumi in SHibuya, his current form would know be able to walk through Reggie's attacks and 1 shot him.

I know you explained the difference between the Yuji who fought Choso vs the hypothetical one fighting against Kamo, but you did not nearly compensate enough for the difference in strength between Choso and Kamo, sorry but Yuji is clapping Kamo's shit

Yuji was literally relied on to take on Todo....hes not losing to Kamo. Kamo doesnt have Supernova, doesnt have the skill to harden his body like Choso, and his piercing blood would more than likely not be good enough to break through Yujis guard. Lets also not forget he's very adaptable in close combat. And even if he doesnt have good control of his cursed energy at that point, his divergent fist would inadvertently give him a good surprise factor on Kamo doing double damage and taking him out the fight early on.

If Yuji can harm Hanami, I'm sure he can harm Dagon. It may take a while, but without the Domain the 4v1 with characters in better shape may actually beat Dagon before Toji arrives.
