IMO I don't think Toji loses. If we're taking Yuji at his best, the same should be for Toji: the version of him where he fights Gojo and Geto for the first time. He'd have his curse that stores his weapons, and the Soul Split Katana and Inverted Spear of Heaven. Plus regular katanas to avoid detection. I think Yuji vs Maki could go either way since she's less experienced than Toji, and is a more straight forward fighter. Toji, especially with the ISOH and SSK, I think could kill Yuji.

@@E538-b6p attacking the soul doesn't mean a whole lot against someone who isn't sukuna or a vessel; not to mention if it really meant anything it has been estabilished that because of HR, Toji is aware of his soul, which also allows him to use SSK But about being faster/stronger, Maki who's equal to Toji was trading blows with Sukuna, the only difference between her's and Yuji's was that he had RCT to keep him going; but I do see a point in him being overall slightly more durable than both. But toji had a third of his body erased and he still was able to talk and died standing, that is an insane feat of durability although understandably not often used

He’s boxing Yorozu and is dead nuts tied with her, though I’d probably put her above him. Uramune is a hard counter and hard matchup but he’s coming out the victor since he’s got better showings and counters reincarnated sorcerers when he gets in

Ngl if you think Jogo takes the win against Yuji then your cooked. In terms of speed, Yuji should be at least AS fast if not FASTER than Jogo considering that Yuji was able to keep up with a Yuta IN HIS DOMAIN. If you agree that Yuta beats Jogo, then Yuji should too. Jogo literally only has speed and AP on his side, which Yuji can easily deal with. Not to mention Yuji's insane physicals? Jogo is a very weak curse in terms of durability- its directly stated that if 4 black flashes and 1 playful cloud strike from Todo were to land on Jogo, then he'd die instantly. Now that was during GOODWILL. This is Shinjuku showdown. Yuji realistically one or two taps Jogo if he hits him for real, without soul dismantle. With soul dismantle? One-shot, easy. Domains are the sticky part of this argument, but I think Yuji can just pull a Gojo and have Jogo's domain collapse from sustained damage, or Yuji can pop simple domain or his own domain. Either way, Jogo does NOT win, mainly due to stat difference. It's also very clear that Sukuna during him and Jogo's fight that he was not trying at all- he was literally playing around with Jogo? Using him and Jogo's fight isnt a good reference because of the general stat difference and the fact that Sukuna was literally having fun. Yes, he said Jogo wasn't bad, but I believe that was because he felt pity or Jogo might've felt stronger because he wasn't at his 20f power. Also, I don't know where you get the fact that Maki speed blitzes Yuji, because she doesn't? Shinjuku showdown Yuji should be as fast if not faster than Maki and should again have equal or better strength. Also, during Maki and Sukuna's fight, yes, she tanked his black flashes but didn't really do much in the fight? She realistically only got him weaker with the sneak attack and was dealt with easily. Yuji shows better feats and more consistency than she does. Yuji should be roughly on par all around, if not better. Maki doesn't have access to RCT, or anything like that so if she sustains a major wound like having a limb lopped off, or a deep slash in any part of her body, even with her 'superior' body that would be a handicap. Yuji can just keep up and wait until he can hit her with a soul dismantle or a regular cleave for all that matter. Yuji wins against Jogo no- low diff and wins against Maki low-mid diff.

The Yuji downplay is wild. Yuji should have roughly have stats equal to Maki and Yuta, considering that Yuji shows feats that are more impressive than Maki and is able to keep up pretty handily with Yuta in his domain (this is important because Yuta is already really fast, and his domain gives him a stat boost). Yuji has crazy durability that I think personally is equal to or better than Maki's, along with RCT and blood manipulation. He can just regrow or reattach limbs and be good as new. Yuji also has access to Shrine and Blood manipulation, two very powerful CT. Yuji also has a high skill in hitting black flashes, which give him passive power amps. Yuji can use soul dismantles which can bypass durability and that damage is PERMANENT if the person he goes up against doesn't know the shape of their soul. Yuji also has simple domain and his own domain, so he can actually survive in domains. Yuji beats Jogo and Maki pretty decently, and the rest of the disaster curses get cooked. I think Hakari loses to Yuji as well, and Uraume. Kashimo loses unless he goes into Mythical Beast Amber. I actually think he and Yuta are pretty relative, but I'd give the slight edge to Yuta just because he has Rika, and more cursed energy. I think Yuki loses (unless she does another blackhole maneuver). I think the most interesting matchup is 16f Sukuna vs Shinjuku Yuji (after awakening). Both should have relative speed, if not Sukuna being a step faster, but I do think their strength should be roughly equal. 16f Sukuna has a better Shrine, but Yuji can do soul dismantles. Yuji most definitely loses but would put up a MONSTER fight.

Yuji doesn't have equal statistics to Yuta lol , Yuta has shown better Durability feats(although not FAR greater) and Yuta has shown overall better feats like being able to keep up with Sukuna better than Yuji and taking the same damage from Sukuna's dismantles even though Yuji has the same energy pool as Sukuna(Gojo already explained how this works). Yuji sure beats Jogo(Could be a one shot if he lands a black flash), Maki beats Yuji mid diff(Just because Maki simply has more win cons and overpowered abilities),Kashimo wins(If he has his CT or lands a one hit attack),Yuta actually no diffs because there is no way I see Yuji keeping up with Yuta and Rika at the same time(And there is no slight edge , Yuta's thin ice breaker was capable of doing more damage than what Yuji did with black flashes alone and that is very impressive), Yuki completely obliterates as just one of her punches was capable of breaking Kenjaku's defenses multiple times and would just straight up one punch Yuji(She also has a Shikigami that was capable of one shotting probably one of the strongest special grade curses in the anime by applying mass onto it) and 16F Sukuna Isn't even a fight , He's getting worse done than Mahoraga and would die by the second dismantle most likely because Sukuna on that hating activity. Yuji is strong but not THAT strong.

Maki doesn't have win cons, only pre-cog, and if pre-cog was truly strong then she would've done better against Sukuna. Yuji and Maki's physicals should be relative if not Yuji being slightly better + Soul and body RCT + Blood manipulation. Maki will get caught and get soul dismantled. Also Yuta vs Yuji is NOT a no diff or even a low diff. Yuta should not know the shape of his soul because Body switch training involves you switching bodies, not sharing a body. Its like driving one car, then going to drive another car. Just because you are in a different car doesn't mean you know how the car works. Yuji was keeping up with Yuta perfectly fine in his domain, and went on way later to 1vs1 Sukuna and was holding his own, if not making Sukuna get defensive until he re-grew his arms. There is also PLENTY of evidence that Sukuna naturally hits Yuji harder and tries to dismiss him, so saying that Yuta has a higher durability isnt really fair to Yuji. I think Yuji is not only stronger than Yuta in terms of raw physicals, but can keep up fine too. Maybe Yuta is SLIGHTLY faster but not blitzing or much of an advantage at all. Yuji can do permanent damage to Yuta theoretically, and if not can bypass any conventional durability that Yuta may have since Yuji is more so targeting his soul. Even IF Yuta knew the shape of his soul, the durability bypass still remains the same. I think Yuji makes Yuta open his domain then it'll be a slow and steady decline as Yuji's simple domain slowly chips away. Yuta wins mid diff. Also Thin Ice Breaker really isnt that strong, because if it was then Sukuna would've spent more time healing it off. Yuji does WAY more damage over the course of the fight, and its not even close.

Your interpretation of “tanking an attack “ is seemingly flawed it doesn’t matter if she was injured already or is she has a regen factor, she didn’t die or was knocked out by the Black Flash. 2. Even so, Yuji at this point in the arc which was nearing to Shinjuku Showdown was able to pummel a freshly Awakened 16F Meguna after Yuji just tanked an attack from him. When Yuji was attacking Meguna, Sukuna literally considered his punches to be rather cumbersome. Keep in mind this Yuji is more soaked in Sukuna’s CE than a Cursed Death Painting Arc Yuji who was considered superior to a Unawakened, Unfreed Maki. BUT Sukuna considered a Maki who is Awakened and Freed to be more threatening than an Agressive, more CE Soaked Yuji. Keep in mind this was in a 2v1. Granted Yuji could have been mentally nerfed, but this was confirmed in the fight after Uraume intervened. Also keep in my they were fight with straight hands alone.

I doubt that Uraume had simple domain because HWB was their version of simple domain in the Heian era. Yuji rn is strong as hell but EVERYONE at the top 10 list is Domain diffing him and and beat him, he looked reasonably strong against Sukuna in shinjuku cuz he WAS NOT too different in power to 3 fingers Sukuna legits runs the the wheel of jjk on 5 fingers and unless its Gojo he deadass wins. Every character has a different way of putting down Yuji, either through domain diff then one shot or out lasting him or whatever. But he goes mid-high diff with Yuta and Hakari, he gets low diffed by Kenjaku, and something like extreme diff with Yurozu.

@@weekendweebs8630 We do, realistically. Everyone has a soul. Nanami is a 'regular' person, no? He wasn't aware of his soul yet was still hurt and damaged in his first encounter with Mahito. It doesn't matter if you are a normal person or somebody with the capability to see the soul, soul attacks work and bypass durability. We have more than reasonable evidence to conclude that Yuta and Hakari do NOT know the shape of their soul, so they cant use Soul RCT. That means Yuji can do permanent damage to them. It gets a little confusing with Jackpot Hakari, but I dont think even in his jackpot mode that he would heal the soul, mostly because he doesn't know the shape of his soul. Yuta has nothing to imply that he knows what the soul is, or what it looks like, so even when he has his power up active, he wouldn't be able to heal his soul even if he wanted too. Strong sorceries can naturally protect their soul, but with enough hits or strong enough blows, the soul will be torn apart and Yuta along with Hakari might be in hot water.
