Damn yuki finally! Been waiting this day for so long. I’ve seen every game of yours in Olympic, world cup and j league and always know you are not not only an elite play maker but also a top class offense player. Giving up some scoring opportunities is quite selfless but I’m more than delighted to see you attack basket more. Expecting your better performance on three point line. Keep going!

What got Yuki his shot is what he was able to do in the Olympics. This occurs a lot in the League. If you're playing for/representing an international teem, and you make their Olympic squad, there are always scouts looking. That's exactly how players like Ricky Rubio got picked up so early.

Let's go, Yuki!!!! Great job. Like many others, I've been keeping an eye on this man since the Olympics. Every day there was a Hustle game was a good day but I always wished he'd try to be a bit more assertive. Now he's showing everyone he deserves to be taken truly seriously. He needs to keep on putting the work, as it shows, but also being careful not to become overly selfish in an attempt to prove himself. This was a balanced game.. Also half-court alley-oop? Daaaaaaamn

@twist7533 6 күн бұрын
@@jasonphan2001 Well nobody do full court pressure in nba do to the insane schedule and the fast pace of nowaday games, you can't defend against a 6'7 6'8 shooter when you are 5'10 unless you have super long arms, there is too much space in nba court to be effective in stealing unless you have super long arms too and the players today are too good offensively to get their ball stolen on dribble. The type of player you describe me are typicaly point guard in fiba/euroleague competition like Yuki or TJ Shorts in Paris. They are super talented players but they can't play in the nba. Basketball is a sport for big human being and the nba is the epitome of that.

@@twist7533 You've got a point obviously it's a massive disadvantage defending against taller players. That's why you gotta be so good at attacking that you can afford to be a liability in defence. I imagine if he stays in the nba- he'll just be a shot maker, nothing more.

My bet is that they just don't want to risk the games because they already have Ja.. so they only give him some garbage minutes to give him a chance to prove himself. So far it's been nice but not enough to convince them to put him above the other point guards. He needs this a few bigger chances to put up this kind of performance. It's also awkward because Ja has been surrounded by controversy, but is very very good as well and seems to be good friends with Yuki
