My older brother lives in Japan (And we often meet him) He said that at winter he was lost in a snowstorm and he saw a woman standing beside a tree that looked just like Yuki-onna. There is a story to this: There was a boy and his parents went hiking one day but they never came back, he got tired of waiting and went up to the mountains and met 'her'. She asked him to hold her baby buy the baby was so heavy so he just stood. Eventually he lightly set the baby down and she appeared And said "You Dropped my baby" And snow began to pile ontop of him. He yelled "You can kill me but please do not kill your own child!" She was moved by what he had said and let him go. She told him "Go but never return for I shall be here if you do".
