These units are so small yet you've managed to give every single on of them so much personality. Every one of them has a slightly different layout and you can clearly see the how different are the characters living there. I am constantly amazed by your skills and talent.

This was so fun to watch. I just zoned out watching every detail and imagining the people who would live there. You painted such a great picture with your choices here.
I think it’s just that no one lives there lol, I think that’s pretty realistic for at least one apartment to be unoccupied😂

Finally, a Japanese build that actually looks like something you'd see in Japan, both interior and exterior. Too many Simmers make "Japanese" builds that don't look like anything you would see in Japan. In the best case scenario, someone will make a convincing shell, but have everything fall apart inside. This build, though? 10/10. Good job.

As always, I love your videos. They're so relaxing to watch, they tell stories. You're such a great builder! On this build though, I have 2 questions : where would the people wash themselves? and what at the items you shrink and "hide" in the closets? Keep up your amazing work!
@blep.63226 күн бұрын
They probably shower at the bathhouse :)
@Runovaris6 күн бұрын
1) It's common in Japan to have apartments without a personal bathing room, either the apartment complex has a shared one on the property you can reserve a time slot from to use it, or there are public bathhouses nearby (they aren't super expensive). 2) The items that were shrunk is a cloth hanger, the hanging clothes slot onto it. Yuki is using the T.O.O.L mod to shrink them, as normally you can't make them quite that small without it.
@21soooy6 күн бұрын
do ppl really go to the bathhouse every morning/night to shower? is it that cheap and convenient?
@hexesayuri905 күн бұрын
@@21soooyThose local, little, traditional and public bathhouses are called "sento" (they're different from a ryokan/onsen) and although the prices rose in the last 20 yrs, they're quite cheap, like ~400-500¥ for an adult (or ~2,50-3$ atm) You also can get your necessities like shampoo, shower gel, towels etc. there 😊👍
@ichinichisan4 күн бұрын
@@21soooy You might as well ask if it's that cheap and convenient to go to a laundromat to wash your clothes! 😆 There's a reason the number of public bathhouses in Japan peaked circa 1970.

As far as I know some old japanese buildings do not have showers, so the tenants have to use public baths or similar facilities.
@kannibalwherm19755 күн бұрын
this might be a stupid question, but none of the bathrooms have showers ? are there public baths on the property that weren't shown in the build ?
@MzMJ4 күн бұрын
I assume the resident sims will have to rely on the onsen/public bathhouse. 😅
@ichinichisan4 күн бұрын
In actual-Japan, a person living in this apartment would walk to a public bathhouse ("sentō") and pay a few hundred yen admission. This arrangement is less common nowadays, since most new residences have at least a shower. Just one more detail that marks this apartment building as "old."
