昔の模型は意外に丈夫なので今でも走ると思いますよ。 当時のSLはモーターが収まらないので縮尺が1/150ではなく大きめに設計されているそうです。最近はレイアウト素材も豊富なのでぜひ挑戦してみてください。

私が始めてＮゲ−ジを始めた時には、私の父が夜間高校に行かながら、国鉄の臨時職員で居た時が有り、鉄道には少なからず理解が有り、Nゲージを始めるのには協力的で、当時の市内の模型店での出会いは、KATO社製のC62とTOMIXの車輪がプラスチック製の客車3輛とKATO社の固定式のレ−ルで、Ｎゲ−ジを始めました。この時から(47年前)私はTOMIXは、少し手を抜く事を平気でするなと感じ、もう2度とTOMIXには手を出さないぞと、自分 で決めました。それとKATO社は常に改善と言う言葉が、私の頭には充分に有りますので、KATO社オンリーで有ります。

Question, since JNR is 3ft6inch Gauge, and "N" gauge is 9mm, is Japanese N scale 1/140? Rather than Standard Gauge 1:160 Scale? ( Japanese HO gauge is 1:80 Scale ( "HOj"). In any case, Japanese models ( both HO and N) are top Quality...except for the Gauge/Scale Compromise. And KATO has a long history of quality model production.

Since Japan is a narrow-gauge railway, the car body is made larger. It is made in 1/150 scale. Only the standard gauge bullet train (Shinkansen) is 1/160 scale.

Thank you for watching. In Japan, N gauge is 1/150 scale and HO gauge is 1/80 scale. These two types are commonly available.

シロクニと共に発売された「はと」の基本を予約して買ってました👍 目当てはマイテ58ですw （当方のチャンネルでも当時未熟ながら開封動画を制作してますのでお時間あれば…） マイテ58-2は今までKATOさんから出た旧客の中で最も気に入ってます(^^) ぶどう色に…屋根はベンチレーター有りで…このマイテだけ使ってイベント列車にしたりとか…色々楽しい新製品でした!
