There is a small mistake in question 3. The underlined part in the question reads 『おとうとと』, but the answer reads 『おとうと』 without と in the sense of "with". Thank you for the video.

It's not wrong, there's no mistake. It's just the furigana is a bit big it slightly goes over the と

Sir, theres nothing wrong with it. 弟と is a kanji plus と which is a particle which means together with. The question is to determine what is the kanji given. The kanji itself means おとうと.

@@tomodachi6023 Take a look at question 2, for example. The underlined part reads 『ついたら』and the answer to the question is all four of those hiragana; the answer is not『つ』, the answer contains the entire underlined part, not just the reading of the kanji. In question 3, the answer only contains the reading of the kanji, not the entire underlined part. This may be confusing to beginning students who don't yet understand that the last『と』is a particle, not part of the word "little brother". It's just a small inconsistency, nothing major.

The only problem is the underlined word. It must be only 弟 not 弟と. But it doesn't matter. Because as you can see on the choices there is no confusing answer like including both otouto and otoutoto.
