@@Arguntrail Well... Gaster build the CORE, so it can't be Alphys' mech. Unless Gaster built a CORE-Mecha and Alphys upgraded it

​@zawdan606 That information may be true; however, in one of the dialogues at the end of the fight, Mettaton says, "Maybe plugging me in directly to the CORE wasn't the best idea" or something similar, meaning that Alphys did, in fact, make the mech, and used the CORE in the creation of the Metta Tank. Making us both technically right.
