Wonderful dancing shame about the oversized headscarf that Yulia is wearing instead of a dress....I don’t know what they were going for when they designed this wash rag

Yulia has always worn absolutely beautiful costumes during her whole career, I think one exception in 2009 is allowed and it’s not even as bad as you claim, she still looks gorgeous. Besides this dance was in fact a demonstration for the audience, not an in competition or a show performance, it was more impromptu as you can see by Riccardo’s clothes as well.
