Also I asked a buddy of mine there specializes in rock bass/pan fish, what that fish was and he didn't respond yet but I will get back to you on what he says. Definitely a weird one, to me I thought more just sunfish but I guess you might be right that its mouth was to big so well see if that buddy has any input. ✊👊🤘

Lmao I never even notice the phrases I repeat until people point them out 😂 Word though man, sounds good! I've seen bluegill with similar patterns, but the mouth was too big & the shape of the body was wrong for a bluegill. Couldn't have been a green sunfish because the colors were way off, & the other species of sunfish are more round shaped like bluegill. Could be a bluegill/sunfish hybrid of some kind I guess.

Yeah, possibly a strange hybrid. A couple animal ID apps I tried said it was a Warmouth which I believe is technically a cross breed, so maybe that? For sure though man, they're great little finesse baits. I'd imagine the freshwater trout would love them too.

These are proven to catch fish they just aren't durable have to switch baits up after 1 to 2 fish as they fall apart

I was having a little better luck than that with them. I'd say I was getting 2 to 3 bass per bait on average which is about what I tend to expect from smaller plastisol based soft baits.
