What version of Yume Nikki were you playing in this video? If it is an old one, could you upload it to mediafire or something like that? Some friends and I were thinking that it is likely one between 0.04 or 0.05. Is this like that? Thank you :)

its beta nasu which means... yume nikki 0.08 OR 0.09 can u please explain what are the differences in the beta yume nikki and the latest? :)

According to my experiences with playing the game, this doesn't appear to be Nasu from 0.09. It could be from 0.05 or between 0.06 and 0.09.

​@@SPAWNSIDES Assuming this is legit, I would bet the version depicted in this video is 0.05 a) NASU wasn't present at all on 0.04 b) The changelog only mentions NASU being altered on 0.06 and on that version it already looks like the regular minigame from later releases

@@404Ari Most likely! I was having my bets on it being 0.05 more than between 0.06 and 0.09, and after doing some research, turns out that NASU was first added into 0.05, so this could be the case!

I believe this is a mod rather than an actual old undiscovered version. This video was originally uploaded to nicovideo by an user who also uploaded two other "alternate NASU" videos. Here they are: www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm942972 www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm1032128 www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm1093337 I used to think these were all from different old versions, but 0.06 NASU looks already the way it looks in 0.10, so in order for these to be real, kikiyama would have had to make one of these designs for 0.05, then put the one we all know in 0.06, change it again twice for 0.07 and 0.08 and then revert it back to how it looked in 0.06 for 0.09. I find this unlikely by itself, but it's even more unlikely considering the changelog only mentions NASU being modified in 0.06 and 0.07 and that all these videos have some sort of custom ending, which supports the idea of these probably being a modified version and/or an edited video, especially this one since it shows Monoe, a character that had not been introduced yet in 0.06. It should be noted, however, that all these videos were uploaded shortly before 0.10 came out, so rather than a modified 0.10, it is most likely a modified 0.09.
