For everyone commenting the plan was dumb, well yea. This series is 100% comedy, rather than comedy with some action in it. Literally every volume of the LN is solved with the most absurd, balance-breaking logic. So don't think about it too hard. Just laugh and enjoy the ride, and i guess squeal at yumiella being bashful about liking patrick

It's also important to note that most people just heard rumors of her strength and/or know her to be a magic user, no real reason to assume that assassins couldn't handle her, especially one of the options was poison (who'd think she was immune?) Seriously though, who'd believe it if they were told that Superman is actually real and he just attends high school like any other student, sometimes doing something crazy with only a handful of people around to witness?

The reason it's a comedy, is because the low-levels find it too absurd that someone is such a high-level, and think they can use low-level skill just fine. Yumellia's numebrs, are bigger than everyone else's

This whole idea was dumb. Instead of slinking back to the royal faction, they thought trying to kill the most powerful person in the world was a good idea? If anything it’s the side with better prospects, you’d think short sighted, self serving opportunists would jump ship instead of doubling down

To be fair, these are the sort of people who would 1) abandon their daughter because of the color of her hair 2) expect said abandoned daughter to aid their political faction out of her own free will. 3)leave said abandoned daughter alone in the territory they pay minimal attention to aside from collecting taxes, so that if she was even remotely conniving, she could easily take over their whole territory from out from under them. The point is, they are very dumb.

An even dumber idea was targeting someone she cares about. Not only did you give her a reason to send your soul to the afterlife, but pissed her off enough to make the journey an excruciatingly painful one to boot.

To be fair, the story continues after the demon lord and as it turns out. She is quite intelligent and capable (more than what is shown on the first arc) and she started to reform the realm and bring changes towards prosperity which affected all the factions as she uncovered all sorts of plots and corruption by just working her land which directly or indirectly only helped the crown more than anyone else. Also while not explained due to the anime jumping some stuff over, she is considered a God by the people outside the royal capital as when she was a child and was doing her training, people often saw a little girl killing hordes of monsters and clearing dungeons by herself so the people of the countryside mistook her for a servant of God or a real god that came down from heavens as dungeons can become problematic when they are not cleared constantly and many villages were at risk of getting destroyed from monsters that leaked from said dungeons. So the rumour spreads and it was unfavourable for the lords and ladies that only used their lands for money and cared not for their residents like how her parents used to do. So most factions inside the kingdom wanted to get rid of her if they could not control her because in a way, they knew she would be a bigger problem later on. To be fair, the light novel is quite refreshing despite her being denser than her black hole spell.

Her to die. She is level 99 but normally you don't level all stats together when you level. Later in the series other people hit level 99 and mc beats them up just as easy as she does now due to her inflated stats. Everyone sees her magic and assumes she leveled all magic related stats.

@@Paztacoswhen’s this? The only other “person” to hit 99 is Patrick …Maybe 2 but given the difference when they thought I don’t think she was actually there yet. I guess when she threw down with Lemn and his offsider they were 99 but she wasn’t seriously trying to kill Yumiella just warn her off

@@michaelbootes4822 Patrick and the other Yumilla. Both lost to this one bad due to the difference in stats. Patrick says later he can't beat her after he has been level 99 for a while during one of her battle bouts. And when the other Yumilla comes to mcs world, they seem evenly matched, but they say later it's just because neither used magic mc easily could predict and dodge magic that other Yumilla couldn't even think of dodging or reacting to. And Mc was just playing around. This is all later in the novel. I haven't seen the anime. She also beats up 2 gods who are technically level 99. 1 easily and the other she struggled with due to it being the god of the attribute that counters her.

​​@@Paztacosactually if you read the wn her stats was already pretty much inflated while she was level one, if you use game shark in those old game and get the final boss as normal character you will find out thier stats are way too high for thier level, a level 40 boss or even lower might have the stats of a level 99 hero not to mention the crazy amount of hit points they have that will exceed even triple a max level hero, the eumella that was killed was only mid level, In short a level 99 hero party cannot defeat a level 99 eumella in s fair fight
