Jethrobodine9...she also has no choice. It's part of her life style. She lives in the village and there are no indoor kitchens. Usually they fill waters up in a bucket to clean and wash their food. That's why always be greatful and thankful for what you have.

We have this in hawaii, but it is very hard to dive for. It is delicious and taste just like abalone and mixture of mushrooms. The shells become a beautiful prize as well. Awesome dish!

In Cambodia we have the best produce because it is all organic, seasonal and local, pesticide free and fertiliser free. Supermarkets are rare but produce markets are literally everywhere. You’re never more than 5-10 minutes away from a traditional market. Locals shop at the markets at least once a day because most houses don’t have fridges or ovens (electricity costs are very high) but at least everything is fresh and nothing wasted :)

Busra Oktem You’re welcome :) There is always a catch, nowhere is perfect but Cambodia comes close! Where do you live? I’m sure there are traditional markets in your part of the world. Sure, they lack air conditioning, and when it rains it can get messy, the smells can get funky - but they’ll always have the best produce, lowest prices and friendliest vendors :)

She boiled them to death,. However the conch snails are stuck in their shells like a vacuum suction so you could puncture the shell and release the seal that way 🙂
