"Yun Nind Se Vo Jaan-E-Chaman, Jaaga Uthi Hai" - Presenting this beautiful song, a gazalish kind of song in the baritone voice of Kishore Kumar from the 1982 film Dard Ka Rishta, produced and directed by Sunil Dutt, who also stars. PLEASE USE HEADPHONES to listen to this beautiful mono recording. This song is an excellent collaboration of Kishore Kumar, Rahul Dev Burman and Anand Bakshi. The song is picturized on Sunil Dutt. The film is dedicated to Nargis Dutt, the wife of Sunil Dutt who died of cancer. Sunil Dutt donated his entire earnings from the movie to the benefit of cancer patients and autistic children in India. The movie raised awareness of the cause of cancer in India.

This song makes a very strong emotional impact..ably written by Anand Bakshi Sahab melodiously composed by PANCHAM DA & sensitively sung by KISHORE DA. Like film Rocky-1981 that was released to launch his son’s career Sunil Dutt Sahab entrusted PANCHAM DA again in this dream project. He knew, since many years, that ‘PANCHAM is many a splendored thing’. He is not just the razzmatazz of jazz & western influence master but also very much Indian cultured & low profile when it's required the most. PANCHAM DA proved it yet again in this album when he presented a diverse bouquet of emotions with song flowers with different splendors and fragrance..from which a true music lover cannot remain untouched..The sitar, sarod, violins, tabla playing so beautifully & that madal flute & ghungroo after first line of antara are played so beautifully. What an amazing composition with brilliant arrangement.."GOD of MUSIC" What to say about this wonderful rendering!! This is another song that is remembered by KISHORE DA'S most loyal fans but seems to have been forgotten by the general public. A beautiful ghazal composed by the greatest Music Director PANCHAM DA, KISHORE DA'S sheer voice ability in this song is something to watch out for. For one thing, he seems to have modulated his voice perfectly to sound just like Sunil Dutt Sahab. Listen to the way KISHORE DA sings “JAAG UTHI HAI” It sounds just like Sunil Dutt Sahab is singing! Another thing is something that KISHORE DA rarely did in other songs is taking HARKATS. But in this marvelous composition, It proves that KISHORE DA, despite his lack of classical training, could hold his own against anyone, at least when it comes to playback singers. Even Anand Bakshi Sahab, who was known for writing lyrics for the “common man,” seems to have stepped up his game & written some mind blowing & heart touching lyrics. A semi-classical song which is also a ghazal type with good lyrics in which KISHORE DA takes HARKATS beautifully..not to forget PANCHAM DA'S magical arrangement. @@SwapanDas Da, When PANCHAM DA was alive and creating such unimaginable/unthinkable compositions, this might have been a normal phenomenon (then) for the listeners of that time. Just like other music directors were composing songs, PANCHAM DA was doing his work in a normal routine, but if seen in today's context, these songs are like a lifeline for listeners like us and this is the incredible musical legacy that PANCHAM DA left for all of us. It is another matter that all the veteran music directors of PANCHAM DA'S time kept good music alive by giving excellent music and compositions, but it is also a harsh reality that the additional factors in PANCHAM DA'S compositions (which may not have been felt in the songs of others) which established such deep roots among the listeners that most of us who listened to it became devotees of PANCHAM DA for ever.
