Zaman 2007-2010 waktu indie tgh naik jadi mainstream, yuna tour dari kolej ke kolej masa tu, akak abang yg dah late twenties, early thirties ni la yg terpekik melolong kat dia dulu, lol. Haih kenangan2, semua berhimpit dok atas lantai, campur yg sesak berdiri, org belakang bising suruh org depan duduk, yuna kat depan dengan selendang simple, dia start petik gitar suara beralun terus semua senyap. Masa dia mula dulu yang banyak support lokal juga. Sampai sekarang maintain je, dah beranak pinak maintain je, cuma dia dah menapak ke tempat lain, ambik perspective baru. Dia bukan dua lipa, Billie eillish, not mainstream enough nak main kat radio even radio negara kita sendiri, tapi skrg dah senang, kita cari kat youtube, spotify. Of course ada yg tak suka, tapi yg suka or sayang tu, dari dulu sampai sekarang sama je. Ingat masa concert dia kat klcc 2/3 years ago. Kebanyakan penonton bila tgk pakaian tahu abis ofis je terus gerak pegi concert, I'm pretty sure atleast some, just like me, memang dah follow dari zaman kolej lagi, aihhh rindu jugak the simple time, but life goes on and I tumpang happy for you Yuna, sayang you berbintang-bintang.

I think I get the meaning behind this video. I guess she’s implying that she feels all alone when she’s at her own house (Malaysia). The empty clothes are just a memory of people that left her. So seeing them is a painful reminder I’d say. Which is fitting for the lyrics of the video, she feels like a castaway in her own house. But then a light shows up at night. Perhaps, a foreshadow if Yuna left her house, great opportunities might come to her. Scary scene (perhaps Yuna was scared of leaving but knowing it’ll be okay). I’d say this song is petty but also expressing sadness and disappointment. I guess Yuna does feel like a Castaway for having to go to America to strive her career.

MET ZA she did say when she was thriving her career in Malaysia, most the locals gave her bad feedbacks. Like she is never enough. Which ties to her other song: likes. Undeniably, those that supported and believed in her is still proud of her. But this is how Yuna express how she feels; like a castaway.

@@AcidWolf_69 I know... im her junior in university.. even our lecturers dont talk about her since she decided not to continue her study. We support/comments all of her videos.. if she focused on negative things.. then what about her supportive fans.. malaysian fans that supported her from her earliest appearance in international streams? I think the only problem is with her PR.. i never saw an ads of her new songs.. if she invests heavily on ads she'll definitely go further

Yuna has had some really beautifully stunning and amazing videos this year and truthfully possibly three or four of the top five-10 or 15 music videos this year. But this one is by far the best yet and one of the best period of her already illustrious career. The way she's alone in her home and implying that even when she's in her own home as the lyrics suggests, she still feels like, "A castaway." With different things, like empty clothes and heels on the floor of her bedroom, empty clothes next to a kitchen table with a full plate of food on the table, painful reminders of a love that she once had. Which makes her feel like she's a castaway even in her own home. The dim light that comes into her house, as she sings with her velvety and dreamy voice the very smooth and reflective lyrics, as she sits in a chair and walks around the house reflecting this love she once had, really helping bring the beautiful and dreamy, yet painful feel of the record truly to life. In such a brilliant and stunning way that only a true artist like her and her husband Sinclair, are able to consistently do so well together when they collaborate on music videos like this. Tyler's appareance throughout parts of the visual just icing on the cake to go along with the brilliantly twist-turning end, which also involves, "the light" that you have to see to believe. The great lighting throughout the clip really helping make the new visual so beautifully stunning and dreamy too. It really shows why from her actual music to her almost always stunningly beautiful and amazing music videos, great live performances and everything else in between, Yuna, is easily one of the best pure artists and talents in music right now. Which is also why she's among my favorite artists right now and has been for a few years.
