nice review, were there lots of outtakes were you just giggled with glee ? hehehe... it is a very well thought out quad, the addition of the steady cam thing is genius idea from yuneec, ..ok i just had a 15 minute think, way too much to say in one post. can i suggest you start researching ''stock footage'' sites to sell clips, and it's time to start grouping your vids into playlists like painless360 does, looking forward to more vids from the yuneec its a great platform, i hope the GCS stuff isn't too heavy a learning curve....

Hello Tigger. Just stumbled upon your video and just wanted to comment on the really nice overall quality of the shoot...good job. I've been mulling over this sUAV for at least six months now but haven't pulled the trigger for various reasons. The biggest reason is that fact that Yuneec insists on using wi-fi (5.8GHz) for the video downlink which really limits range. Can you get 500m from this or not? Ever tried? ;-)

+Appalling68 Hi, glad you enjoyed it have you seen the footage off this thing, I'm pretty impressed here is my latest effort kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqKzYoGkaZ6CbLs I'm not a big distant flyer so doesn't bother me at all, I started off wanting all the 1km stuff and realised that I would never use it and generally fly within a few hundred feet of my location and TBH have never felt I have missed out on a shot that I wanted. So in answer to your 500m question, I haven't a clue, sorry but better to be honest. Anyway I hope that helps and you thumbed up and subscribe, more to come from this quad and the next big investment of my kids inheritance :-)

Great review. I love mine! Don't forget to put a micro sd card in your tx. It goes under the battery and will be very helpful if you ever have a problem. If you are on Facebook, there are some good pages devoted to Yuneec Q500 Quads. I will share your review.

I hope you have a Nihui U807 in your collection. The U807 is by far the best out of the box bang for your buck sport flyer (no mods necessary).

OMG, so after watching your vdeos in reverse order (Oldest to newest) I finally get here and realise you did actually get yourself a Typhoon, even though I did comment on the awesome video footage of the Yuneec that you had published. To be honest I took no notice of the platform you used when I commented on how good it was. I guess I was to busy watching the video. Anyway I hope its everything you want it to be. Thats one big ass quadcopter. I hope the link I sent you worked so you could see comparrisons from another perspective. Just one question though, now that you know how to fly it manually, have you flipped it in the garden yet? (just kidding) I'm sure you'll do this quad justice. :)

Hi Walt, glad you are enjoying the channel, I tried with Yuneec but didn't get very far and now deals are so much better with the re-sellers trying to shift stock ;-) I have no experience of Autel so can't really comment, I love both my Yuneecs, that's not to say i may not have loved the Autel had I gone that way. The Q500 is a big beast but flies really smoothly, I love it as a video platform. have fun with choosing and I find once you get anything, you can make the most of it, heck I was producing good quality video from a Tarantula X6 LOL Cheers

Just a thought, instead of negotiating a volume discount, negotiate for a discount through a unique code only available through your social media efforts. Make sure you get a kickback everytime it's used. ie. Negotiate $50.00 off for XYZ Code plus $5.00 kickback to you everytime it's used. Basically, the manufacturer is paying for advertising based on your sales efforts. I just think rounding up a group of buyers for a volume discount is too much work and too difficult to administer.
