It will drift and hit example drifting backwards will crash the copter into that tree instead of avoiding as the sensor are on the front of the copter. What I like from DJI is the many different settings for camera, lightbridge instead of yuneecs wifi connection, what i like of yuneecs is 6 rotor security I am tending to buy phantom 3 advanced.

It really depends on the shop that you work with on support. I have never called DJI support directly because everyone calls them for the smallest of details. Yuneec does not have avoidance system in place yet. Nor does Solo. DJI is the leader of UAV and they are fairly priced.

Just searched on internet, the comment is that Yuneec clearly cheated during their demonstration at CES, making the world think they had created reliable obstacle avoidance. At launch though, the Typhoon H only includes sonar sensors, a technology that has been around for 20 years. They have a 15 degrees detecting angle and just 3-meter detecting distance meaning that they are very impractical for use on an aircraft. They are clearly relying on people to upgrade to RealSense while promising without proof that this will offer the same performance demonstrated at CES.
ummm yes what are those tiny white balls around the drone? stock one don't have them?

Wifi real-time video transmission was just what you'd expect, awful. The camera was OK. But this realsense snake oil is what I'm here to complain about. I have a suspicion the realsense module wasn't even activated in the production unit. Making bold claims like the ability to remember obstacles, well OK, how many can it remember? What type of memory is this data stored in and can it be ported to another unit? Why is it that when I temporarily removed the realsense module I saw absolutely NO degradation in autonomous mode ability left to rely on the sonar alone? And finally, if realsense is so great, why is it absent from this year's lineup?

The Yuneec Typhoon H Drone is even worse than I predicted. Not only does it take two hours or more to charge the battery, the battery doesn't give the promised flight time of 25 minutes, in truth it more like 19 minutes and it takes eight hours to charge the controller-go figure? The drone was poorly built, the obstacle avoidance doesn't work well, poor carrying case, the return to home height feature is set at only 10m-which means the drone is most likely going to hit something in return to home mode in an occupied area. The drones hover feature is poor because it moves around a lot. The remote controller is very big and the camera is very weak. For professional use I don't recommend this drone and for personal use, I would think twice before buying it. Like I stated in the very beginning, the Yuneec Typhoon H Drone is nothing more than a DRONE HUSTLE.

Just put them gun instead of camera, set and aims and you will have killing monsters - with no protection for humans. Are you not afraid of what you are now creating?

+MortallicA91 yeah, ISIS is very bad. They will kill you and all thousand people around you with those tiny robots. And they seem not to care if they kill ordinary citizens or not. But you dont care, because you have this nonsense philosphy "even your own child can do you harm", right?

You aren't going to get what you see in this video. All these mass produced aircraft are for real estate agents and selfie douchebags. If you're planning on making money, you'll need to open your wallet. Don't be fooled by these $500-$1,000 deals.
