I was at the club in Detroit the night that Berg got his chain snatched. It was called “club 212” I believe. Ironically lots of rappers would get their chain snatched and beat up their if they didn’t “check in” with Trick-trick and paying their “hood tax” after coming to Detroit (he referred to himself as the Detroit mayor). He was part owner of the club. The fight spilled out into the streets, and it was pretty tough to witness, because Berg and his crew didn’t stand a chance. Trick-trick was the founder of what we now know as “checking-in!” 😂 But the good thing is that nobody ever lost their life……. Not that I condone this in any way.
