was that with the distressor I got the same chain can u give me some vocal setting u don't respond much to comments was wondering why u got rid of the cl1b I was thinking bout getting on but people say its just good for tracking and u can get the same results with the distressor and the Sony c800 if not more do to the flexibility with the distressor

I have a tubetech channel strip now and no longer use the neve or the distressor. When I did have the distressor I used the opto setting included in the Manual. It was a great compressor and a great preamp as well. I missed the tubetech sound. Specifically the compressor but they went up more than I was willing to pay for a compressor alone so I purchased the channel strip which included a compressor similar to the CL1b, pultec style eq and a tube preamp. Great combo with the c800. Not as big on the low end as the neve and tube tech combo but definitely has the tubetech sound and vibe that I wanted. Compressor on this unit is amazing. The distressor is a must have unit as well. I just wanted to get something more all in one..
