I listened to Stranger for the first time yesterday. I've been getting more and more into Yung Lean and I downloaded this album to listen to it on a plane ride home from visiting my girlfriend in Denmark. While the album definitely has some amazing songs (red bottom sky, agony etc.) I think Yellowman is my favorite one. It was around 7 when then song started playing. The sun was setting and the sky had this amazing warm color while we were flying above the clouds. While the album was playing I was also thinking of everything that had happened and I had done during the last year. Listening to this song at that moment was such a powerful moment. Love you music Leandoer, thank you for everything you are doing
@YT_Surfer996 жыл бұрын
11 months later and i still play this song on almost a daily basis. The whole first half of this song and the way he finishes the song off puts me in such an ethereal state of mind where it makes me feels so peaceful and optimistic and happy but sad at the same time. Pure art.

Look at the music today, Where did everybody get their drugged out songs, and far out lyrics? Unge Herr. Lean started out this freak lifesytle when he was young, now all the rappers out there going with the same shit, using the same words, And where the fuck is leans credits for this now trendy thing? someone need to realize this is where it all originated at, sadboys. Peace!
@ripplayboicactus92794 жыл бұрын
There’s been drugged out songs in rap way before lean but I do agree with Lean paving the way for the way rap is today. He grandfathered a lot of these new rappers yet very view rappers acknowledge it

EASILY Leandoer's best work. I'm a huge fan of the movie Blade Runner, I wonder if Jonatan is as well because this instrumental sounds really influenced by Vangelis's score for that film, it could be a coincidence but either way this is absolutely beautiful.

when i first heard of him he was a 16 year old and i hated that because a 16 year old no matter how real their life is doesnt know shit until they've been through it once before. i assumed yung lean would get out early and have the same syndrome that lil wayne had. being a really good artist , but being polluted by the praise you get. he turned out to be a good guy, actually. At least his outward apperance to the audience and media is intellectual self-fulfilling. I use to not dig this music, i can't stress how much that has changed. yung leans profanity turned into a mystic mind-opening adventure. I read many books and watched many movies, listened to many songs inspired by yung lean. He truly was raised by some great people, and he is a reflection of that. I love you, yung lean. no matter what that means to you. you'll mean a lot to me, for the rest of eternity. forever till beyond then again. let's hope he has a great future n music, yall. n stop sayin his name with your disrespectin young mouths in the comments less you wanna see them disabled. foolish shit and redundant hive mind fuckery is a surefire way for a fandom to kill a great artists potentiality

I really don't think this is music, it's sounds arranged in a way that gives you a profound experience, it's the closest I've ever got to feeling like I was on drugs since I quit them. I walked down a familiar street with Autumn coloured trees and dusk light and this song blew my mind open, I could literally FEEL my childhood again, so many emotions ran through my body because it has such an atmospheric feel to it. The asymmetry of the rhythm and the irregular melodies that clash and force your mind to think differently about the song, it's just such an emotional experience. If I lie in the dark and put this on, it literally sends shivers down my spine. The only other song that had effected me like this is Faces of Angels by DOK & Ponder
