Judoka Yung Wei Yang of Taipei was the sensation U60kg at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and claimed a silver medal. He took bronze at the Worlds in 2022 in Tashkent. Yang was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for juniors U60kg in 2017 and at senior level in 2022. He took silver at the Asian Championships in 2019. He took various IJF World tour medals in Qingdao, Hohhot, Budapest and Tashkent. He took silver at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. He bagged a gold medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2022 and bronze in 2021. He secured a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2022.

Country: Japan | Born: 15 April 1996 (26 years)
Japanese judoka Ryuju Nagayama took bronze at the 2019 World Championships in Tokyo against Takato, fifth in 2018 in Baku. Nagayama was World Junior Champion U60kg in 2015 and he won the World Cadet Championships in 2011 in Kiev U50kg. In 2016 and 2018 he won the Grand Slam of Japan and bronze in Tokyo in 2017. He took gold at the IJF Masters in 2017 and 2019. He won the IJF Tour in Düsseldorf four times. In 2020 and 2022 Ryuju won the Grand Slams in Paris and Ulaanbaatar. He won the Grand Slam in Tashkent in 2021. He won the Asian title in 2022.
