Without Michael Jackson, there would be no Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake etc. He was the GREATEST of all time and you will be truly missed. Moonwalk your way straight to heaven. Rest. In. Paradise Mr. King of Pop!

It was a moving speech about the great times they shared together and about his great passion towards his fans, his art and his friends/family. Not to mention he was a kind-hearted, soft spoken, pure angel!! It was really sincere!

No body abandoned him. Michael became reclusive as his health deteriorated and his addiction to medication became worse. He shut himself from his extended family and friends. You can only understand that kind of loneliness when you go through such a phase. It is a vicious cycle and a self - fulfilling prophecy.

I really loved Michael Jackson. I never ever believed the lies about him. I loved the way he cared about children and it made me so angry when people made jokes or questioned the way he loved kids. He built Neverland so underprivileged and sick children could know the joy he never had growing up. It's too bad people took advantage of his kind heart and he finally closed Neverland forever. There will never be another person like MJ. The things he loved most, performing and making sick and underprivileged children happy are the things that finally killed him. God bless you, Michael Jackson. (I hate that he died on my birthday)

Oh my Gosh, who else is drowning in tears right now?! I'm seriously trying to cry quietly so no one thinks I'm dying, or something. This was such a beautiful speech, and makes me love Michael even more than I did before.. but I just wanted to say, where were all these people when Michael needed them the most? At this time of his life? Where was everyone when Michael needed a friend, or just a hand to reach out to? .. No one was there.. Michael was abandoned by these people, and left by his self.

Well done Brooke.... Now I know why I never watched the funeral when it was on TV... I can't handle this. I'm angry that he's gone because he didn't go in peace. Because evil liars hurt him while he was alive. There's evil liars out there now still talking very ill of him in the press and media, people trying to get money out of his estate. I'll never understand why his family didn't support him better. They say he shut them out. I say they didn't try hard enough. If it wasn't for MJ, none of them would have a dime. Janet maybe, but no one else, had any real talent. Sure, Joe started them on the road, but don't you think if there wasn't a Joe fate would have put someone else in MJ's path as a child? I do. I think his talent was meant to be shared with the world. I think he was a modern day prophet, spreading the message of peace and love, and just like in olden times, people who didn't like him tried to smear his name. Nothing ever changes. If there is a life beyond this one, I hope we have the ability to haunt those who hurt us and those we love. I hope MJ is doing that now. But, knowing him, he's too loving and caring to do that, even from the other side.

+Whisper of Love Have you always blindly and unconditionally supported friends or even family members? I doubt it. It IS possible as adults to care about people from a distance. It's always amazing to me how people can attest to know what someone else is thinking or feeling based on a clip they see. You could be right, but you have no basis of proof other than basically projecting your own feelings on to how someone should be when a friend has trouble. And that's tacky.

Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot At this point she hadn't talked to him in about 16 years so I'm pretty sure she didn't care. She's fake and left as soon as the media started to turn on him.

This was so beautiful, she really talked with the heart, it looks a lot when someone talks with the heart and when someone just say insignificant things. Her words were so sweet and beautiful, I loved her speech and I think Michael heard what she said, he will be always with us and with her. Michael We Love You!!! You will be alive forever and ever and ever and ever! you rock our lives! R.I.P.

I'm always in tears whenever I watch a video of him. He WAS one of a kind, like she said. He's truly missed. His soul was the nicest and loveliest. And this world owes him a huge apology but sadly it will be never enough. But instead of mourning his death I'd rather celebrate his life. Michael Jackson, King of every individuals heart, will NEVER be forgotten. R.I.P

She wasn't his real friend, when he was accused in 1993 she rejected him, And after his death she suddenly became so nice...

Brooke Shields had not seen or spoken to MJ for 16 years prior to his death so her very emotional speech (but not a tear in sight), was way over the top.

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SPEECHES GIVEN BY ONE OF MICHAEL'S DEAREST LONG TIME LOVING FRIEND'S, HIS GOOD FRIEND BROOKE SHIELDS. MICHAEL WAS TRULY A WONDERFUL LOVING MAN. HE WAS A FRIEND TO ALL, LOVED ALL, AND HELPED OUT GREATLY THOSE IN NEED. MICHAEL WAS NOT ONLY THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER, DANCER, SINGER OF OUR TIME, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, HE WAS A GOOD, CARING, HUMBLE, GENTLE, LOVING, MAN, THAT IS WHY I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. MICHAEL WAS AND IS A TRUE LIGHTWORKER AND HAS A BEAUTIFUL SOUL.

This is the first time I've ever seen this clip of Brooke talking about Michael and it was so real & genuine. She was so on point when she said: "The world saw Michael has the Greatest Entertainer and Genius!" (Which no doubt he was all these things and much more.) But she knew the real Michael since they've spent countless hours together. I know this had to be very hard on Brooke to share with everyone. She gave the most awesome speech about her times with Michael Jackson! I will always love Michael Jackson for everything he has done has a Humanitarian and for all he's done for the sick children everywhere. He deeply cared for everyone. Yet? Sadly in his very own Country "The USA?" Were MJ's real killers. For the USA use to be the Country everyone wanted to be a part of at one time or another. Now we're known as the most irrigant of all Countries around the world! We went from the best to the worst of all Countries! The USA is known to Build people up to the top and when they get there? They can't wait to tear You down! "Tabloids, The Media, No morals left here in the USA or any "Role Models for our young generation to look up to! Never have I seen any Country more segregated than the USA! I'm proud to be an American and yet disappointed in what our own Country is doing to make other Country's see us has the most self absorbed people in the world! I'm hurt in my heart for what we now look like in the eyes of other Countries. We have a president who's keeping the USA more segregated now than ever before in the history of any President of the USA!! To say on nationwide TV that other Countries are S**T-hole Countries and to clearly make no one ever feel welcomed in our Country and embrace them all because he's a disgrace! The President is an embarrassment for all Americans! Michael tried so hard to unite everyone. M.J would've made a great USA President or at least M.J would've been excellent has the person who'd brief the president in the USA on speeches! R.I.P. Michael, you're so missed from us all!
This aged well... November 2021 and this still hits different

In a sense, most of us are alone, and somehow we just accept it, try to grow out of it. We Learn to Live with the hurt, but we know that that’s what it is to be human. Michael did not feel loved by the one person he always tried to please and be loved by... He never felt good enough. Lupus flares up from containing all the emotions, and Michael was a giver, he just gave and gave but he was only human. His body started breaking down. He was child like in so many ways!
