The realistic difference nri’s feel who have spent their whole life abroad and come to Pakistan and punjab is so realistic. The differences between pakistanis and nris is great to see and how they go through it. I have faith this show is going to show great character development, depth in relationships and absolutely meaningful conversations and realistic experiences. It is truly so refreshing like how yakeen ka safar, hum tum , chupke chupke, khamoshi and sirf tum have been. It is a treat to watch this absolute realistic show.

Sukoon must be the name of this drama. Such a beautiful piece this one is. Critics jaaye bhaad mein, I'm totally loving this drama. And Kim's heavy voice is just so peaceful to listen to. She's just a beautiful soul, a little ignorant of the dangers of the world, but is a total heartie and matured in her own little world. Maya Ali got to play a different role from her usual local belle roles where she is all too traditional and conservative. Here she has the freedom to just let go of all those shackles and play a happy go lucky woman.

This drama is flawed. Kids in America and specially Pakistani Americans do not disrespect adults. Character’s mother taught Urdu (read and speak) but forgot the basics of mannerisms. Kim’s character does not have an American English accent or pronunciation. This is coming from a mother of two Pakistani/American kids and I have never seen anything like this. Maya Ali is a good actress but Kubra Khan would have been a better choice, knowing her exposure to foreign culture along with Pakistani.
