I don't think are "lovebirds" yet, but it's certainly a good start and definitely feels like an "enemies/rivals to lovers" trope sort of thing. Since HSR already shown that it's perfectly fine with shipping playable characters I wouldn't mind this to become a thing. I do think at the very least they will earn each other's trust and become close by the end of this at the very least.

I feel like Yunli sounds older than she looks, and it's more notacible when you listen to the other languages, I think she sounded younger in the special program livestream, I mean Yangqin sounds younger than her and he looks older, and with her bratty personality her mature sounding voice it's just a bit off putting, I don't normally complain about the VA work in Hoyogames, but when it comes to young characters it's always kind of a coin toss whether they'll sound right or not... It almost like they don't want them to sound young...

Even though I don’t ship them, I love their dynamic. I prefer them to be like bickering siblings and I love the jovial rivals to begrudging besties type of dynamic they could have. They are like an old married couple.

@@5_marvelrinaldi621 well, they’re not canonically romantic, I mean all of their interactions seem pretty hostile and neither show genuine attraction to each other (shipping them is all head canon). I get why people ship them but I don’t and still love their dynamic. I prefer them to keep it platonic and end up as bffs with a hint of friendly rivalry, like I said they’re like an old married couple just without any romance.

After today I can unfortunately confirm they don't like each other. Just got paid today of this comment and decided to do a summoning session for her, so I made a team of just Yanqing and... yeah it took I can probably guess 90 rolls or at least close there like maybe 80ish so no ig they don't like each other. So for future reference if you're wishing for her don't make a team of just Yanqing.
