yunus emre is a great Turkish poet.he usually wrote poems about islam.He was a poet who used Turkish very well.When I read his poems as a Turk, I am surprised how he thought of words so well.I think people like him come to the world less.they're unique.Maybe his poems don't sound that nice when you translate it to english. For example, a few nice words he wrote: If you can't enter a garden, don't stop and watch. If you can't make a heart, don't ruin it(english) Bir bahçeye giremezsen, durup seyran eyIeme. Bir gönüI yapamazsan, yıkıp viran eyIeme(turkish) This is the English translation.But there's a meaning here and it's hard to translate. the meaning can be said as: It is the heart that he describes as the garden. So it means that if you can't get into a heart, don't break it. When you say you cannot make a heart, it is meant as If you can't get someone's heart, don't be offended by saying I can't get it anyway. he was a master.

I dont think Kasim Agha is an antagonist. He probably just loves the Sheikh's daughter too. I think he is just jealous of Yunus a bit

I have the same opinion. He's just incredibly conflicted. I also blame Taptuk a little for fostering that jealousy... his comment about how Yunus would do a better job of following orders than Kasim didn't help at all. I understand Taptuk simply missed Yunus fiercely at that time, but still. I felt a measure of disappointment in him there. A sheikh ought to be more careful with drawing comparisons like that.. however briefly.

Its there tridition to show humility so they do istaghfar so they may not feel themselve superior or the other one may not think that he is thinking himself superior so they ask Allah's forgiveness. But in the translation one cannot explain the tridition so they change the translation according to the circumstances. As you must have seen some time they translate Astaghfirullah into Thankyou some time to mention not and some time to your welcome

How does Astaghfirullah translate to you're welcome? How does Ya Shafi Ya Kafi Ya Mu'afi Ya Allah translate to either this either that either something else or Allah? Must be automatic translation. Plus I didn't know a turtle is Najis. They pet the dog but have turtle issues.

The turtle was spreading blood for some reason, it was either sick or has ticks he said. Blood is considered najis. But yeah some of the subs are a little off. Some more than others.

@@Onigirli astaghfirullah = I repent to Allah/Allah forgive me. Ya shafi ya kafi ya Mu’afi are 3 names/attributes of God so it’s important for the translation to be spot on. Also there is no “or or or” he is just saying Oh healer, oh kafi, oh mu’afi. Not or or or... so yeah we’re thankful for the translation but there’s a lot of room for improvement. Especially when the concepts are so important and it’s difficult enough to understand them with accurate translation.
