I actually wrote a sketch of a crack fanfic based on a dream where Hololive members participate in a Presidential Primary, where I replace U.S. States with Japanese Prefectures. While I was roughly aligning states with prefectures, I decided Iowa would be represented by Mie Prefecture, so the chapter I did end writing features Shigure Ui as the governor of the prefecture and her kind of being a kingmaker in the Hololive political process. I thought this would never be relevant, but here we are.

General Reply - Thanks for your interest, uh, so the dream was about various Hololive members competing for the nominee, so originally parties were separated by different gens, and Nijisanji and others were integrated. As I said, the story never really went anywhere after that first chapter, but I have been slowly reworking the story. Since there's interest, I might accelerate the process. I have changed the political system as more parliamentary, separated out the agencies and the regions and hope to release the story (I guess I have to, now) by Japan's next election, which I thought would be next year but the polls are bad so maybe not.
