i mean even if the chicken is cooked, if it gets cross contaminated by putting nearby some uncooked chicken you could get it food poisoning from that. especially if it was a work related probably a lot of portions being prepared at once. glad shes better, also thanks for the clip :)

...chicken sashimi is a thing. well, this is the country which eats fugu I guess... Also TIL Ui actually works with other people, thought she just solo drew whatever since she isn't someone who does high volumes of artwork like a mangaka or something. Unless this is like who hired her for light novel illustrations or something?

I tried it while in Japan, its an interesting experience, but not really all that mindblowing so much as an interesting way to try chicken(textures/flavours). It's more subtle/delicate than cooked(natural flavors shining through instead of heavily seasoning it), and it's more more of a snap(like eating a white fish sashimi that has more of a chewy texture like a good red snapper). Worth giving it a go just to see what it COULD be like, but then it just depends on how adventurous/curious about food you are. As for going out for a meal, it could also just be editors/management level people. A lot of social networking is part of your work requirements if you freelance a lot, whereas you have an editor/publisher handle a good chunk of that for a serialized/rep'd artist.

And her second stuff is the streaming and playing games or read super chats or just talking about various stuff. At the moment, she is a freelancer.

Eating Yakitori and Yakiniku is good and all but you just gotta make sure to cook the meat to its' fullest because you'd get sick and then you'd find yourself in Loli God Requiem. Curious though, for grilled meat, you guys prefer, chicken, fish, pork, or beef. I'm more towards pork.

Not all chicken can be eaten raw, as there are literal breeds in Japan that are selected for that specifically. Even with fish, not all salmon could be eaten raw as it depends on where you catch/farm it and an understanding of what it eats, where it's likely travelled through. A lot of the food safety rules are there as hard/fast recommendations to eliminate risks/possibilities, but if you're careful with things and prep them correctly, a lot more can be done with ingredients(along with the acceptance that there are more risks with some preparation methods). Safest way to eliminate risks is to cook everything to like 85C internal, but then you're not gonna have much flavour/texture left.
