I like Kaf, truly. She's probably the only singer that I like purely because of their voice. She can sing many songs that are not my taste, but I would still listen to them daily because I like listening to her sing. It has been my greatest concern if Kaf graduated like many other virtual people out there, or they would change the person behind Kaf for reasons unkown like Kizuna Ai. Kaika is like the most reasanable solution to my concern there. I'm really glad the company fully-support Kaf's decision. She can now fully put her interest as a singer and songwriter to her career without having to tiptoe around virtual stuff. Please keep on singing, Kaf. We love you!

I have this strong weakness toward unique voice like Aimer and of course Kaf. She might not that great in singing all genre but in her own specialty, she is unbeatable. She just make every songs become her unique color.

Thank you for clipping this. I only watch the uproar on twitter so I never know KAIKA is supposed to be her non-virtual persona. So she is walking in same road as Ado did. Since she is very young, it is sweet to see Sui and Azki talked to her like two big sisters while also being her fan. Looking forward for Kaf and KAIKA songs.

KAF's performance with VALIS back then is starting to take on a deeper meaning. Building a brand as a vtuber and then slowly revealing your true self is not the same as building it from still images at most. People like to meme about "muh immersion", but that's because it's true and sacred to some. VALIS definitely set the precedent within KT, and I don't know how well this would have been received by the fans had that not happened first. Ultimately I'm glad for KAF that people are rolling with it.

Hearing much more about Kafu-san is so niceeeee, i got introduced into virtual avatars by Kafu-san first before any vtuber or vsinger, so she is always the first that comes to my mind when i hear virtual. I debated getting both the KAF and vwp tickets because I kinda just wanted to see harusaruhi and isekaijoucho but KAF really put a ton of effort into her show, glad I didn't miss out on the experience. Kamitsubaki hasn't let me down yet, I hope they continue to grow and hold even bigger events.

It's quite a surprise when i watched the concert at the time. i still can't really put my thoughts behind the idea as i've been watching her as KAF for the last 3years but, i guess it's not that big of a deal as they already did it with Valis (although a lil different in concept). I trust piedpipper could maintained the balance between Kaika and KAF just like how they did it with Valis.

i think some people are reducing the idea of KAIKA way too much. she isn’t supposed to be entirely “KAF irl”, because she’s still performing with a projection of this new form. the whole point about KAIKA is that it’s supposed to be an outlet for music written by KAF, but still keeping her privacy and presence as a virtual performer

the best way i’ve seen it explained is that KAIKA is another “persona” for music that the-person-behind-KAF writes herself. but she still wants to be a virtual artist and keep her privacy, so she’s performing with a projection of this new “persona”. they’ve wanted to make it clear that KAIKA isn’t supposed to be the-person-behind-KAF.

Kaf and Kaika are going to coexist. What they've said so far is that Kaika is a new "version" or "form" of her that she will release new songs (right now songs she's written) and explore new things under. Kaf will continue on as she always has.

For now let just say that you can separate her like this; if song is made by someone else, then she'll use KAF, but when she herself made then song, then she'll use kaika. I don't think KAF will disappear yet.

I can see it one day. Might have to grad from Holo but I feel Suisei is a person that likes to constantly expand on their limits and boundaries. So unless Holo actually comes up with actual Hologram tech to keep up with Suisei's ambitions. I can see it going down.

Appearing even in a situation like this where she's in a dark silhouette has a chance to expose her face since I heard it's happened to Ado in one of her concerts where the people in the front could see her face.
