I always find that so dumb, like can you even imagine being so scared you're literally shaking, and then slowly standing up and getting ready to go into the next room, knowing full well something equally terrifying is on the other side of the door? I'll be honest, I'm not sure I could do it. Luigi is the bravest character in the entire Mario franchise and I take no criticism on this.

Correction: The post " -1" levels *do* exist! They're just not as exciting as the phrase "hellish sights" may suggest. You can find them on bootleg versions of SMB1 that have a level skip cheat on the title screen or multicarts that allow you to start on a different level. Mainly they're basically unplayable messes or weird re-used chunks of earlier levels.

I never liked these kind of stories that make Mario out to be the bad guy and a horrible brother. In many of the games, Mario has not only showed *his* undying love and respect for his brother, as shown in Luigi’s Mansion 1, 2, and 3 and M&L: Bowser’s Inside Story, (despite him getting all the glory, while Luigi gets little to nothing), But Luigi, as seen most prominently in M&L: Dream Team, has shown that, no matter what, he always wants to be just like Mario and do whatever he can to protect him from any harm.

Apparently... and also, Luigi, according to this bullshit story, Luigi is either training to be a glitch gremlin, or he IS the glitch gremlin. Which is just stupid either way. And plus, they changed Luigi's Final Smash in Smash 4. It's based on the Poltergust 3000 from Luigi's Mansion, in which he sucks up everyone, and shoots them out, like ghosts, and he can ride the vacuum, which is also cool. So, the story doesn't even make sense now. Not that it did in the first place, but now, it makes so little sense, that it literally makes negative sense.

interesting theory about daisy. i just came up with my own tho. theres a rumor that daisy is an ancient 1, cause it turns out that she actually has lots of eyes under her hair. i actually dont know much about ancient 1s, but im guessing that while luigi went through crud in the negative zone, or whatever, she kept him safe and trained him how to use his negative feelings as a super power. so if nothing else, he probably feels indebted to daisy for her protection and guidance and they're either so close cause they continue his training, or discuss ancient 1 matters, or part of the agreement was that he would date her

And he doesn't even use Nico's intros anymore, and hasn't heard from the guy in a very long time... But, shortening the title of the best storytime segment, and Yuri's best segment, doesn't mean the quality's gone down. It's only improved with time, like a fine wine, or something, I don't know, I don't drink... well, if Yuri were replying directly to you, I think he'd say: "Welcome back, missed you!" Or something like that, because Yuriofwind cares about his fans, which is why I'm glad to be one myself. The author isn't technically lying about the Minus World's 8 stages, but they are completely wrong about how they're accessed and greatly exaggerated what they actually are. The minus world stages they describe are _actually_ accessible only on the Famicom Disk System version of SMB1, due to that version of the game storing data differently from the cartridge release. As for the "hellish sights"? Technically they aren't lying, there are random princess sprites and alternate palette bowsers chucked around stages, but trying to spin that as a spooky detail for your dumb smash bros story is just plain stupid.

Krillin is way braver than Luigi, and the single strongest full human. Luigi, despite being cowardly, is some kind of eldritch abomination or something, (not a joke). Seriously he’s doing his best or at least he thinks he is, but spin off games that expand the law keep on referencing his hidden potential. My personal favourite example is super paper Mario where Luigi Is brainwashed into being one of the boss characters and is instrumental in a vilanous plan to harness ultimate power and rewrite the universe. Luigi is the key to rewriting the universe. I just wanna let that sink in, who is the better character? Don’t one but Luigi is more akin to Majin Buu after the Buu saga. A total joke yet somehow very powerful.

It's apparently, and I'm quoting the trophy description from Brawl, "a reflection of the dark, negative feelings Luigi felt, in his brother's shadow". Even though Luigi loves Mario, and Mario loves Luigi, he's felt dark feelings and felt overshadowed by Mario. Don't know where the exotic music, weird dancing, spinning around, weird effects, and the idea of the negative zone's creation came from though.
