I absolutely find it hilarious how many Holomems come to deeply admire Subaru. Just people casually sliding into Ahijo-dom.

as with Sora, the longer and better they know Subaru off air, the more they respect her. It's quite something

Yes. I am no longer in Japan and my poor japanese is now poorer. Watching these clips is good for people to learn some words if they aren't around japanese speakers and don't have a lot of time

I also think that, it's very interesting to learn japanese

Subaru abuse is a running joke among us fans, and these moments are exactly why. For all the "bullying" we put her through, Hololive really cares for Subaru!
@DrShnig8 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for the clips! But I'm commenting moreso for this: the vocabulary spot thing you do at the top of the screen is SO GOOD! Great job! It helps a lot for us JP learners! I seriously can't even believe how much effort you must have put into both translating the clips and then going back, listening to the clips, determining which words/phrases might be unfamiliar to the average viewer and then putting those up there as well! Well done!

I greatly appreciate you putting up little vocab words in the corner of the video. As someone who casually listens to japanese it is helpful to try and piece together the sentences. Thank you for sharing this clip.

This is the good part of the Senpai-Kouhai relationship, although in the West it is always talked about critically. I would be happy if the good parts could also be understood.

@@stellviahohenheim Its korea tho, they always managed to make everything more toxic than its already is, have u seen their idol industry ? They somehow even more fucked up than jp undergrwound idol

@@stellviahohenheim I am not familiar with the Korean situation, but even in Japan the bad parts can surface. What I wanted to say here is that there are good parts too. I would be happy to see the good parts of these traditional relationships developed as much as possible, and to see them flourish together in the context of their relationship.

when subaru was talking about hajime and how she was paying forward what fubuki did, i think a better way to phrase it is that "hajime does for her kouhai what we're doing for her" from to -> for. While to is correct. i think saying "for" shows better that what was done had an impact positively. Similarly to how Bae said in one of her streams that fubuki reaching out to her as positively impacted her and she wanted to pay it forward when she got kouhai (which she now has).

Sorry, I know what you were going for there, mostly, but when I first saw this comment, my brain saw "bully, innit." And I was immediately wondering if you were going for a British meme thing for a specific reason or not. Then, my brain caught up, and I realized that I misread it.

I always found it funny that Towa and Subaru actually got close because a compatibility test told them their compatibility was terrible lol. They did the Icarus Jetcoaster for a while, which is a group name that makes 0 sense. Now they're just close Also Subaru has definitely become more lesbian with each passing year. I do feel like the Hololive office influences girls in a certain way Same for Suisei. She wasn't that lusty towards girls initially, but now she's a dangerous person to be alone with if your name is Aqua
