in 1976 performance he said the song was really maybe more about himself than about Lisa... I know no one can see her... Maybe someday i can free her... Approximate quotes... Its about the inner sensitive feminine soul in a creative artist...what Jung would call the anima.... Its a haunting song , the inner feminine that needs to be freed ...or perhaps expressed.
