I recently traveled a a couple thousand miles to see an 85 yo friend dying of end stage renal disease. He was a person who made an effort to help a 20 yo old throughout life. I am 67 yo now and when I went to see him in the hospital I pulled out my iPad and played this song that had me to soooo much to me and always reminded me of my friend. The song: Father and Son We listened, held hands and had a good cry…. Thanks Yusuf so much for this song and all your amazing music

He has created everything, ordaining it precisely. 21:26 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honoured servants. 39:4 If Allah had intended to have offspring, He could have chosen whatever He willed of His creation. Glory be to Him! He is far above this! He is Allah-the One, the Supreme. 17:111 *And say, “All praise is for Allah, Who has never had ˹any˺ child; nor does He have a partner in ˹governing˺ the kingdom; nor is He pathetic, needing a protector. So glorify Him with [great] glorification”.* Would you still LIKE to use that expression ? PLEASE read Quran to learn more about YOURSELF and obviously about The One you worship so that you know what you can call yourself and what you can call your relationship with Allah.. Peace

I agree. I think everyone around the world communicates from the HURT and FEAR they feel about each other. Part of that is government and/or radical thinkers indoctrinating us....from every country and every religion. From the things I've read that U.S. or "Western" soldiers and government have done that are NOT good..I can see the Muslim's (or any other religion or government)'s fear and hate towards what our country has done that's not good. Conversely, Muslim people or people from other countries...need to understand OUR fear was brought on by the atrocities perpetrated on us by radicals from THEIR religion (or government). (7:55) Non-muslims and even Muslims themselves will find a lot to learn and appreciate if conversations on Life and Islam happen. Then all of us will see that Islam is a God given gift for all mankind, not the "ugly and violent picture" the radicals and the press paint it to be. Please give God's Word, the Quran, a chance. He has given us a lifetime of resources to find Him.
