I love your takes on marriage and what you talk about and I can attest this trying to convince a girl to change her ways is not working, I have been in a few relationships and trying to keep it halal and try to tell them or help them understand what they do is wrong ( No matter my approach is kind or strict) it just ends up with heated arguments or breakups. Today many of us give up and personally finding a girl who is willing to go through the hardships and build something together in a halal way seem to be a hard mission for me. May Allah ease up these situations for us and everyone who have been through similar things or worse❤

I can’t lie, this video was necessary but hard to hear. I used to think I knew what I wanted and that I’d be a great spouse. Now I’m going through some hard times and realize that although I’m caring and tender, maybe I don’t yet have all the leadership qualities or even have a general outline of my future figured out anymore. I’m nearly 25, haven’t really been in a relationship, and currently feel this way. I’m sure Allah SWT is saving me from something harmful right now and will give me something better. Please enlighten me, Muslims of the internet. I’m 19 y/o and I have been friends with a girl the same age as me for a few months. I have feelings for her. After a week when I realised my feelings for her, my best friend told me that she has had feelings for me ever since we met. Then, literally last week, I confessed to her and I told her that I want to marry her. She’s 100% okay with it. The thing is, we have never seen each other’s faces because we met online. BUT what am I worried about is am I going with the right approach considering we have never met in real life and my age? I really want us to be in a halal relationship soon, but at the same time, am I going too fast with all of this? Normal chitchatting with opposite gender can ruin your life like it ruined mine!!!). Tell her you won't talk to her until she lets her dad speak to you (If she says after her exam, she'll let her dad talk then good but you two cannot chitchat during this period). If she refuses & wants to continue to chitchat then BLOCK her & RUN! She just wants to play around, bro. Don't trust me? Just simply tell her you won't be talking to her till she brings her dad. See what see says.
