Hopefully the subtitles are the same as the Crunchyroll ones, because it makes A LOT of difference. More so than TV version versus Blu-Ray version quality issue. I remember watching a few reactions of AoT who had varying subtitles, some of which were kinda acceptable (like maybe from Netflix) and some were downright horrible. Same issue somewhere I saw with JJK S2, some lines felt really odd. So yeah, hoping for the best.

Points to clarify (No Spoiler). By the way, although some say that the small errors in the story are because at this point it was not 100% planned yet (which is true), some sense can still be made of these errors. 1. 22:47 Yes, there are only 4 Special Grade Sorcerers: Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, Yuta Okkotsu and someone who already appeared, although she hasn't introduced herself yet. 2. 34:30 No, they can't learn other cursed techniques, Geto was referring to Yuta learning how the Cursed Speech works. It's implied that Yuta can somehow copy the cursed techniques of others. 3. 36:44 Yes, it's Playful Cloud, why Geto has this weapon will be explained later. 4. 39:08 Yes. 5. 42:19 Although it wasn't very clear, Geto is killed by Gojo, in that last scene together you can hear a cutting sound, this is clearer in the manga. The big question is, how is he still alive? 6. 44:08 No, as just explained, it was Yuta who cursed Rika granting her all that cursed energy. Even though Yuta has freed Rika from the curse, all that energy is still his, that's why he's still Special Grade. 7. 45:35 Miguel is doing penance by coaching Yuta with jujutsu (forced by Gojo). 8. It should be remembered that Gojo went to Yuta (Kenya) twice in the first season, the first time during the Juvenile Detention Center episodes and the Junpei episodes. That's why Miguel asks Yuta "He (Gojo) already left, right?" and then says "And you (Gojo) what are you doing here?". I can't wait for season 2. P.S.: Make sure to watch the Bluray version second season.

Let's goooo, been looking forward to this one Wanted to add this about Yuta/Rika and the end since you might've had some confusion about characters current opinions, as you see at the end that Yuta originally cursed Rika, that immense strength and bottomless cursed energy originated from him, won't say much more though because it'll be revealed eventually. He also was there for around half a year by the end so he learned a fair bit and even used Reverse Cursed Technique to heal everyone briefly. Miguel definitely earned props for taking the Gojo beatdown too lmao I’ll add this too, love trench coat katana guy lol he spends this whole movie just rolling his eyes over doing anything. About Geto’s end, at the very least Gojo seems to think he killed him here (it’s pretty clear in the manga) as well as both of them exchanging last words, excited for S2 tho!

Also this part of the story is based on the one shot that gege wrote and then because it did well and people enjoyed it is how jjk was born. So some things didn’t exist yet like domain expansions and other things. It fits well because they changed some stuff for the movie so it would fit better but some stuff can be a bit confusing because of that. Also yuta grows in strength and the exchange event is still after rika is gone but stuff like this will be answered later like season 2-3 ish

34:30 cursed techniques are innate to their person, so a sorcerer can't just learn somebody else's out of nowhere. what he used was a tool. 36:43 and yes! playful cloud has a notorious record of appearances throughout earlier jjk. The thing Gojo said to Geto hasn't been 100% verified yet, however we have been given hints: 1. In English, it's 3 words 2. It was said by someone else in the same movie 3. Geto says "You could have cursed me before you killed me" and Gojo later says "Love is the biggest curse." So, the most logical option is "I love you" since it's 3 words, said by Yuta to Rika and fits in with the curse lines.

Okay, so few clarifications without spoilers cause JJK can be convoluted: - (Most important) Misconception for a lot of people - Geto is believed to be dead. You can hear the sound effect when the screen goes black that Gojo killed him. No one in S1 knows he is alive. I wish you had also picked up a MAJOR change in his appearance. I won’t say, but look again. - Geto did use Playful Cloud. Notice how in S1, Maki said “this one feels disgusting to use” - Geto’s reasoning are that the weak (non sorcerers) oppress the strong (sorcerers) due to sheer numbers and the fact sorcerers sacrifice themselves for the greater good of the normal people, with no recognition. He sees that as unfair and in turn ended up hating normal people so much he wants to kill them all lol - That was in fact Nanami’s black flash record - This is also where Todo killed all those first grades they mentioned in S1 - They never explicitly say, but author confirmed Gojo’s final words to Geto were what he told Yuta, “You were my best friend, one and only” - 4 Special Grade Sorcerers: Gojo, Geto, Yuta, ??? - You can’t learn others techniques. Yuta/Rika are literally just different. - Yuta & Rika just met in a hospital when they were both sick as kids. That’s it. - Yuta used Reverse Cursed Technique (aka healing w cursed energy) to heal all them. Which is extremely difficult. - Yuta is still OP. Can’t say how but just hold your questions til they’re answered

Timeline is even before JJK0 movie. The second one, Shibuya Incident Arc, is the one that follows up with Season 1 and we dive back into our present timeline. That much should be clear, you’ll figure out the rest. I can’t add too much since I’ve only watched it like twice before (third time today and previous one was in a reaction too), so technically only once so I don’t remember the dialogues and such. With S2 not the same case since I’ve watched it plenty again so excited for that. Also, the next arc although short is my favourite in JJK. So really really looking forward to it! Also, we got the sense that Gojo and Geto are close from the fact that they are the only ones who call each other by their first names. Also, please make sure you watch the opening and ending of S2, especially ep 1-5 (which is a small different arc inside the season, you’ll see). It is somewhat discussed because ofc it’s ambiguous for a reason, but gege the author basically confirmed gojos last words before killing geto were "You are my best friend. My one and only." Which is so terribly sad since gojo sees what harm geto causes, but he still can’t give up on him (fitting with the love is a curse theme of the movie).

Just a heads up, I'm pretty sure some of the mechanic stuff in this movie is not cannon. It was written before the main story, Yuta was actually originally going to be the main character, so the author changed a few things after he wrote this. For example, I don't think the author had come up with the idea of Domain Expansions or Hollow Purple at that point. So if some things seem like they don't add up to what you've seen in the series or just don't make sense, that might be why.

Also here's some stuff about rika that is only found in a little after page of the manga , • Rika's mother died suddenly from unknown causes when Rika was five. • Two days before entering elementary school, Rika and her father got lost while mountain climbing. One week later, Rika was found alone and rescued from a shelter near the summit. • At the hospital, she met Yuta, who was being treated for pneumonia. They later ended up going to the same elementary school. Her father was never found, and his death has never been confirmed. • Aware of how her appearance is perceived, Rika sometimes manipulates adults. • Rika was taken in by her grandmother on her father's side, who strongly believes that Rika killed both her parents. • Rika stole the ring she gave Yuta from her grandmother's dresser. It was her mother's wedding ring. • When she was human, Rika was very friendly with Yuta's younger sister. However, after becoming a vengeful curse, she became aggressive, which is why Yuta distanced himself from his family.

Aniiishaaaa!!!! Yeah that’s crazy to think that Yuta could’ve been the main character and honestly he seems perfectly set up for it. Now in my eyes he’s a very strong side character which is great because that just means more screen presence for us! A favorite between Yuji or Yuta? Man, that’s like picking a favorite between your kids. I’ve got my own reasons and I’ll definitely dive deeper with it into my show recap video after I finish season 2. I’ve got portfolios on all of the characters and things that I like and reasons why and motivations and stuff. And in terms of personal favorite for my own reasons I’d have to go with Yuta but that’s not to say Itadori is less than or a bad character. I’ll go into depth with it in my show recap for sure! I do have a few favorite characters and I’ll get into that deeper in the character recap but to make a long story short my top three are Ijichi, Nanami, and Todo! Ijichi is my favorite because he always serves others, gives strong words of wisdom and helps guide Itadori in season 1, calm cool and collected, and always gets down to business. He seems easy going and is always there for our crew (except during the juvenile detention center arc LMAOOO) but to me he’s the unspoken hero. And the way he squared up this movie makes me think he’s got something under his sleeve to back it up and I wanted to see him fight so bad 😭 Second being Nanami because I hard relate to him a lot. I feel like I’m always going into overtime and it’s always a drag but still give it my 110% and get serious. Upping the ante making me peak. I love Nanamis attitudes on life and his fatherly instinct and wisdom to Itadori after the junpei arc. Hard relate to him and everyone seems to respect him. An absolute goat 🔥 And third being Todo because he’s brought the best out in his besto friendo lol. Nah but for real 🤣 I love how despite the orders from the Kyoto principal and his classmates telling him to kill Itadori, he gauged the situation for himself and chose what was right to him. When everyone ganged up on Itadori, he used boogie woogie to save him without even having a conversation with him yet. Even though his question being what is your type is absurd, he still wanted to give Itadori a fair shake and go against the tide of his team which I respect. And then to teach him and train him even though he’s the “enemy” is so sick to see. He resonates with me because I just want my friends to grow and be the strongest versions of themselves. I think one of my favorite moments from the first season is Todos inner monologue after training Itadori a little bit and he says. “Survive Itadori and grow stronger, I’ll be here to help you do that” or something alongside those lines when they hit the back of their hands together. That scene hit so hard for me. And of course who doesn’t love Todo whipping up a dream in .0001 seconds to find the answer he needs. It’s just too good 🤣🔥 he’s too funny man, love Todo. Yeah those are my top 3 for sure! Who are your favorite characters Anisha? Season 2 lets gooooooo massive hype!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Anisha did I put my whole swanussy into this comment? 😮‍💨 lol

Legit got whiplash from opening my notifications and seeing that DBQ ass response (in a good way!!!😅) Also not you saying that you couldn’t pick between your children and then picking Yuta .💀 And I have never heard anyone pick those 3 as their top, but I can totally see why with the reasons you gave. For my favorites, I would have to say Yuji has always been my top choice. I am always a fan of strong goofy characters that have a lot of kindness and empathy. Which is also why Gojo is a favorite too (it will make more sense once you learn more about him in the show and if you decide to read the manga as well). After I initially saw the movie, I loved Yuta (probably not as much as Yuji because he seemed like Yuji in a different font if that makes sense) but he stayed a favorite after I read the manga. And I love Inumaki, he is so underrated, and his power is probably my favorite. I love that you also get hyped for the Inumaki scenes, the 6 of us Inumaki fans have to stick together. Sorry, I feel like my answers were not as eloquent as yours, but I also didn’t want to spoil you. 😭But I am interested to see if your favorites will change as you go through season 2. And yes, you did. I feel like I just expect the -ussy comment anytime I comment now. I guess it’s part of my brand at this point.
