It is hinted that Miwa made a bounding vow to never swing a sword ever again in exchange of making her Quick Draw attack against Geto more powerful. He still caught that shit with his bare hand. Honestly this anime has aged very well a lot of people didnt like the change up from a very bloody and violent first season to thorfinn becoming a slave and having to deal with his past in the second but i really enjoyed both seasons as the character development was really well done in season 2 compared to season 1 and the overall message of trying to become a better person not just for yourself but for others really resonated with me

You made a very good decision to not watch the next one yet haha. It's in a different way, but much of the next episode too is very mentally taxing.
