i LOVE this for yuta. it's soo him. i hope he's happy with this project and knows how loved he is. unfortunetly, SM sucks and they gave him no teasers, no highlight medley, no promotion basically. even their twitter account layout was still dedicated to Jaehyuns solo the day Yuta's came out. despite all that i hope yuta knows how proud of him we all are!!

Yuta is Japanese and passed the SM Entertainment hearing when he was 15-16 years old and moved to Korea alone. And he's been a Kpop idol since then as a member of NCT127, but he really loves J-Rock, J-Metal, Japanese bands of look. He has always been attracted to rock and spoke openly about wanting to follow the genre to his own music. Whenever he shares songs on his radio show (Yuta at Home), there are always classic Jrock artists being recommended. Your covers are also all rock/jrock in recent years. He is a friend of his idol, Hyde, L'Arc en Ciel as well. This is his true color and self -expression he always wanted to have. He also wrote this song (in fact, 6/7 songs from the album) alone, so it's no wonder she shows her true self! His fans always play that he is different from any other idol, from his musical taste to his aesthetics. And I'm very happy that he is finally able to share this side of him with everyone without apologizing. Yuta is really a unique artist. They made Yuta's Spotify playlist the day-of so there are some issues, typing in 'yuta depth' should pop it out. Also, everyone found out 2 days before the mv that the album was being released instead of November so youre not wrong, it's been messy 😭

The whole thing has been sooo😭 Yuta’s debut is being handled by a Japanese label (in collab w SM). Japanese labels tend to schedule releases ages in advance, but they suddenly said the digital version was coming out earlier and we were all like OH lol. Glad it’s here tho, it’s so good 😭

Rock and Metal are definitely Yuta's favorite genres of music and he's always wanted to pursue it musically if given the chance. He's also been travelling to Japan to get screaming/growling and rock vocal lessons and a lot of his big role models and inspirations are japanese rock artists like Hyde, Miyavi, and so on. Yuta has done a lot of covers but i highly recommend checking out these 3 rock song covers he's done.
