It was known that his album was coming out next month but suddenly tuesday there was a post that the mv and digital album were coming out today. So yes very sudden all and barely any promo, zero pictures or anything just a teaser yesterday. Also also he looves this kind of music also did covers so this is very his style! I love this so much.

I'm like glad he got to do what he wanted and the mv is top tier but yeah... They're sabotaging him. Wtf is this. Shouldn't they try to save NCT with all their solo work now that 127 probably won't really be doing stuff for the next years due to military? I get that they always treat the foreign members awful but this is just plain rude and stupid. Ugh I can't imagine how Yuta must feel rn..

Avex Trax (the Japanese production company SM partners with) is probably in charge of this one. I know they announced his Japan tour a few months ago (9 dates in 5 cities) but I think that was through the Japanese fan club first...

He's a known metalhead! His music idol is HYDE a Jrock artist and he's spoken about how he's been taking rock style vocal lessons for a number of years to. He listens to a lot of metal/heavy rock and has mentioned listening to the likes of One Ok Rock, Linkin Park and a lot more. A lot of his stlying is Jrock/Vkei inspired for a number of years now!

Rockstar Yuta finally revealed to the world!!! This is insane, I love it!!! No half measures here! I have to say kudos to SM. All the solos from the NCT members were so totally different, so clearly their style. They did not restrict him, this is what he wanted to do for ages, everbody who has been following him and listening to his covers knows.... I am just so happy for him.

His target audience is def not kpop fans, who don’t generally like or appreciate anything but the most milquetoast rock influence! It’s totally for general jrock and visual kei fans, though it’s a shame they won’t look to SM for this music. I hope this is a super lucrative album because it’s like seeing the second coming of hyde-he’s so authentically good.

Yuta is Japanese and passed the SM Entertainment hearing when he was 15-16 years old and moved to Korea alone. And he's been a Kpop idol since then as a member of NCT127, but he really loves J-Rock, J-Metal, Japanese bands of look. He has always been attracted to rock and spoke openly about wanting to follow the genre to his own music. Whenever he shares songs on his radio show (Yuta at Home), there are always classic Jrock artists being recommended. Your covers are also all rock/jrock in recent years. He is a friend of his idol, Hyde, L'Arc en Ciel as well. This is his true color and self -expression he always wanted to have. He also wrote this song (in fact, 6/7 songs from the album) alone, so it's no wonder she shows her true self! His fans always play that he is different from any other idol, from his musical taste to his aesthetics. And I'm very happy that he is finally able to share this side of him with everyone without apologizing. Yuta is really a unique artist. Very happy for the strength emanating from my beautiful and talented Yuta..❤‍🔥👏👏.

This is a proper Jrock album... i get u in kpop we mostly get poprock since rock is frowned upon and concidered as kinda inappropriate??! There is a proper female krock band called rolling quartz u should check since u like this genra... I need an MV for each song the album slaps!! My Rockstar unleashed himself 💚💚💚💚 Yuta has always been vocal about his love for rock / metal and i live for it (having the same passion for the same genre made it easier to have him as my ult 😅)

Korea doesn’t have a market for metal; Japan still does! Dreamcatcher’s Japanese releases had genuine metal involvement (Coldrain and Hammerfall). Xdinary Heroes and YB are the only Korean release I’ve seen recently that can be called metal, though Jaejoong’s album still had a few of those old school jrock influences; I hope Yuta’s album turns a huge profit so he has an even bigger promotional budget next time because it seems like the Korean market is finally getting primed to accept real guitar riffs and even a distorted bass or two, haha.

This was what I was wanting & expecting from Yuta…. However, I wasn’t prepared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SHOOK! I love so many genres but rock was my first love as a teenager. It sounds mainstream and is reminiscent of the best era of emo/rock 2005-2015.

Yuta Was definitely excited to release his own Mini album because he was definitely thinking about the sound engineering and styling with the Tracklist because he's literally a performer and vocalist I always appreciate seeing in NCT 127

I think there were no promotions because SM still hasn't approved of one of their idols doing this 😂😂😂 it's closer to J-rock, I'm guessing. It was English and Japanese. Not surprising considering his interaction with Hyde. He's released a few covers before, and this was pretty much what I expected from him, but to be 100% honest, I didn't think the company would let him do it.

I'm glad for Yuta debuting as a solo artist, but I along with other fans notice that SM unfortunately didn't promote much of his solo compared to Jaehyun. They did announce his solo tour last month, but not much to the extent of leading up to his first mini album. Since his album is already out, Jaehyun's photo of his album is still in the thumbnail of the NCT social medias. Yeah, I'm disappointed, still on SM, for not showing a lot of love and more promotion to him but I'm glad that he has more lines! We love that for Yuta showcasing nore of himself as an artist and to support him all the way as much as we can as fans

I heard about this a little while ago and I knew it would be coming out via Avex Trax (Japanese partner label that has done most if not all SM/NCT Japanese albums) So sorry I didn't mention anything but I don't use most social media.... and I always figure everyone know more than me ;) Japanese albums don't generally get much in the way of fanfare on the same outlets that Kpop companies do their regular promotion. Yuta also didn't say anything on his social that I follow... but he doesn't usually :D I do know he is doing a Japan tour this month and I hope he has a great time. This is soooo his style
