Switch out Lyrics Diphonizer & Romaji Hiragana plugins with iroiro ^-^ iroiro does a lot of ust conversions, even iroiro2 works with CVVC to VCCV ^-^ It's a bit weird to get open at 1st, but it's simple to learn & once you get it up the 1st time, it'll work the rest of the time.

this might be late for a lot of people, but I'd like to mention something important for anyone who says "I copied into the plugin file and reloaded the folder, it still won't show up!" UTAU can only read things one subfolder deep. WINRAR, if you right click and use the extraction functions, will sometimes put things two subfolders deep. for example: >plugin name >>plugin name >>>actual files if it's like this, simply remove the unnecessary folder. this applies to EVERYTHING UTAU related, including VBs.

@mythicat._exe my only recommendation is a fresh install (don't just delete the folder) and making sure your local is set. i periodically have to reinstall UTAU when using it on win10 because it just... screws itself up and i can't explain it any better than that lol. never had this issue before moving to win10 personally but sometimes the "have you turned it off and back on again" type approach can solve it.

Well, when extracting a RAR/ZIP file, just make sure all the files you extract are put in one folder.

If you go to the Control Panel>Clock, language, region>Region, language> Formats> Additional settings and change the "," with a "." it will start up normally~

@@jhall_draws hello! i am here to help. first, what you do is extract the files, and then move the files (don't edit them at all!) that you just extracted and move them into UTAU's plugin folder. open up utau, go to tools, then to plugins, then you should see the plugins you just added in.

Ik it's late but i found a solution lol Maybe you have the , as the decimal seperator and the . for grouping large numbers (ex: 100.000) . But UTAU uses it the other way around. That's why you get the error because UTAU thinks 100.000 is the number 'one hundred and thousand'. Just click on the home button -> settings -> region -> somewhere at the bottom is 'additional settings' -> under region, click 'change ...settings' -> a smaller window should open, click on the button 'more settings' -> then you have to swap the , and the .

I know this is way late but I've been having a problem, I downloaded the Romaji to Hiragana and put it in the Plug-Ins folder. When I went into the UTAU it showed up but when I select everything and clicked the Romaji to Hiragana Plug-In there's no sound. Same. I first tried for 2 hours to get the romaji to hiragana plugin, then resorted to downloading a new Utau, but now I need the pitch editor plugin, which I've worked on for at least an hour. ok so I have a problem with the romaji to hiragana plugin. I did everything correctly but when I use the convertor, it's not putting hiraganas, it's putting weird letters that doesn't mean anything. Of course, the utauloid stays quiet even if the convertor did something to the romajis.

Similar thing happened with me, but in the plugin menu thing where you choose a plugin its shown as gibberish and then it changes it to gibberish, and then when I play it it doesn't make any sound.

Exactly! Although, I figured out that I actually only changed the language of my laptop to Japanese and not the local. Once I did that, it was able to translate properly! If it helps, I have Windows 10 and I had to use the search bar to look for a thing called "Region". I don't remember what I did after that but you can probably look it up.

I'm actually having a problem with plugins. :/ The first few months I started UTAU, I was able to use the Hiragana to Romaji plugin no sweat. Same thing for the reverse. One day, I had to reset my computer to factory setting. I got everything reinstalled and working again, except for this little problem: plugins won't run in UTAU anymore. Like, there's the folder and all the programs to run them. When I click on a plugin option in UTAU, the usual popup processing window comes up for only a split second before disappearing, as if nothing happened at all. I've tried several plugins and they all do the same thing. No 'ERROR' message, no reports, nothing. I've been looking around for months to see if anyone's had this problem before, and so far no luck. I'm currently using a brand new computer and the problem still persists. My theory is it's something to do with my Microsoft account because Windows 10 has that online account feature. Any ideas, Yuunarii?

That's really strange. Seems like there's going something wrong within the UTAU program itself.. Personally I'm no expert on plugins and how they cooperate with a program, so.. I'm afraid I won't be able to help you.. Did you reset your local to Japan again before installing UTAU again?

Arlax Wolf Hope my advice isn't redundant, but here I go. In UTAU, go to Tools, then Option. In the window that pops up, go to general, others and check "Output the entry of the old format to plugin-script and UST-file". Afterwards, set the drop-down to all. Hope that helps. It's what worked for me.

romantokana plugin is great but when it translates the "di" sound, it becomes "でぃ" which is a hiragana character that many voicebanks don't use, instead type "ぢ" because most voicebanks use that hiragana character

This has to do with how the kana chart works. Some romaji doesn't match up great with the actual saying, like how "づ" is said "dzu" but written "du", "を" said "'o" but written "wo", how u's are more silent, ect. "でぃ" is closest to reading as "di," but "ぢ" is actually read more like "dji." I don't use this plugin since I know Japanese and have a JP keyboard I can use, so I can't help with every single romaji to kana translation, but this is a helpful tip! If you really want to understand pronunciations better, I recommend learning hiragana. It's not too difficult and it can be really helpful if you're forcing JP voicebanks into English. It'll teach you those tricks like "fu" to "fa" and forcing "th" sounds. If you're not, render & listen to a note. Some combinations are uncommon or incorrect, so a voicebank won't have them.

the romantokana file doesn't work at all :( the romanji gets "translated" into a bunch of "?à," and other kinds so i cannot get to make any voice sing these edit: with some digging i realized that the files called "omatokana_phone" (file that holds the romaji to hiragana translation) cannot accept hiragana alphabet and even changing the file format doesn't work because then UTAU doesn't work with this format so yeah i'm stuck here...

I sometimes get errors too when using the pitch editor. I think it has something to do with the amount of notes you select. So perhaps you can try selecting a smaller set of notes and then use the plugin. If it keeps giving you errors then I'm afraid I don't know what could be wrong :c

The pitch editor doesn't work for me. Everytime I try using it I get an error in Japanese that won't close unless I close it in the task manager. Anyone else struggling with this?? It's so annoying and discouraging!

i think i'm getting the same. when i try to load it into the plugins in utau i need to click it through the task manager and i just get that pop up error that i can't read lol

I was downloading the roman to hiragana plugin, but when I went to rename it in the notepad, it would not let me rename it. It said I couldn't rename it because I didn't have permission to. Is there something I can do about that?

i have the pitch editor working and everything, but when i press ok it doesnt apply to my notes?? its still in the pitch editor but in the main screen and the playback its unpitched

I’ve downloaded some of the plugins and yet there not showing up??? Like…I did everything in the video and yet the pitch editor one still isn’t showing up I idk what to do.

I found the solution! look for the right arrow triangle thingy at the lower left corner of the screen. click that multiple times then it will zoom it

Uhm, The pitchbend editor is having a lot of problems. The file doesn’t seem to work with my computer. Or I’m just dumb. An error message in Japanese appears and then the plug in is stuck on my screen Please help

when i try using pitch editor & i click ok, it doesnt show up as altered :( the red line doesnt move and it doesnt sound different. i followed the video... :(:(

aight 3 years late but... when I open the pitch tuner plugin the bars for the samples show up, but they're INCREDIBLY tiny and makes it extremely hard to tune (A whole note is shown to be at least a centimeter long on my screen.) can anyone tell me whats up? edit:nvm fixed it re

No idea if you've fixed it since this was a month ago but I had the same issue & fixed it thanks to a comment above - gonna copy/paste so hopefully you can fix it if you haven't! 'In the bottom left corner, there are two arrow buttons. The right arrow is zoom in and the left is zoom out'' - I genuinely wouldn't have thought to click those two buttons otherwise, idk why the dev chose THOSE for zoom.. but they did :P
