I was reminded of a repressed memory of my father attempting to kidnap me due to an amber alert of the same magnitude. My sister and I were discussing the alert and were talking about an incident that happened where our father kidnapped us both-Then she mentioned the one time he took me by myself, which I had completely forgotten, but it came rushing back so quickly. At the time he was physically, emotionally, and mentally abusive, and although I don’t think he would’ve hurt me...He was too erratic and obsessive with my mom. I think he would’ve done anything to keep her with him or hold me over her head in order to hurt her. I was three at the time... I didn’t realize how hurt and scared I was until this day. I feel so hollow on the inside and I can’t cry anymore. I don’t have anyone I can share this with, so I’m thankful for this audio. I rly could use a hug rn, but more importantly I need ppl to send out positivity and prayers for this child who’s been abducted by her father. Regardless, of his intentions, I hope he doesn’t traumatize her the way my father did me-I think I hate him now.

Today was such a weird day. No spoons, pain was bad, and anxiety was through the roof. Had an anxiety attack. Genuinely hated comfort audios when I first started listening to audios. Was like, I don't need some audio to talk me through a panic attack, but bruh. Letting myself have something like this, with a familiar voice to talk me through the worst of the attacks... Listening to them has been a game changer. It helps me feel less like a burden because I hate asking for help. And this way, I don't have to. I can just feel safe with that familiar voice. ❤ EDIT: Also, what size are the raccoons where Al lives??? 😂
